I agree w/the previous reviewer that the pastrami is just okay, but i thought the rye bread was vg and the pickle was average. the chicken noodle soup was good. overall, the prices are too high for the quality/quantity of food.

Wimpy, chewy, mediocre pastrami on flimsy rye. The only good part was the pickle. As far as desperate eating goes, not bad. But if you want an enjoyable, filling, relaxing sit-down stick to your ribs meal, look elsewhere.

corned beef was ordinary, chicken noodle soup had no chicken, but lots of salt. Went with a coupon and would only go back with a coupon

I needed a big order in an hour and they got it to me - early!! Everything was delicious and plentiful. I will definitely be a return customer.

Being a meat lover I am very particular about which meat I eat. Mendys had one of the best pastrami sandwiches I ever had. I also got a chicken noodle soup that definitely hit the spot! the restaurant was a nice place with an old delicattessen feel! will for sure come back here again!

Don't skip this place. Whether you just want to hang out with friends or alone; are looking for a formal place to conduct business or a family event, this place is for you! Try the Hot corned beef sandwich.

I realize that everyone cannot make matzoh balls as good as mom or grandma's but these might be the heaviest ball of lead I have ever eaten. Sandwiches are ok (although better places are nearby) but the soup is awful
