Puney sandwiches
Ordered corned beef on club roll to go. Very small size roll and not alot between the bread and a little dry. Not worth the $10.95 price.

won't recommend it and
The sandwiches are small for the price. the Rye bread was cold and hard. They advertised 4 soups but only had two available. I went to the Grand Central Location. Definately not worth 10.95 or 4 dollars for that matter

Not worth it
I've gone to a few locations and they all serve mediocre (at best) kosher deli food for outrageous prices. Example: a luncheon special of half corn beef sandwich (quite small) and chicken soup cost $13 (without a drink) . People behind the counter and cashier were surly. Have tried to give them a chance but don't plan on returning at this point

Everything wonderful
All the food was delicious -- we had the soups and sandwiches. The staff was very nice and accommodating and the owner/manager was exceedingly nice. I found this to be an unusual combination! Also, someone wrote something about a Groupon issue -- but I don't know why this was an issue because it very clearly stated on the Groupon up to what amount one could order for a sandwich. This was our first time trying Mendy's (this was the 34th street one), and everything was great, and we give it the highest review!

Last Resort
I had Mendy's delivered as the other choice was worse than this place. Tiny sandwich - you would think you were in Iowa and not NYC. I only I could get my group to get something else delivered.

Not recommended
I went there recently with a groupon The groupon was for two soups (not to exceed $5.00 each two sandwiches not to exceed $13.95/each and two sodas. When I went to order the two meat sandwich I was rudely told that I cannot order a two meat sandwich its cost $13.95. No where on the groupon did it indicate this. Rather than argue with irrational and rude people I settled for two cornbeef sandwiches. $10.95/each. What a disappointing choice. Portions were small and meat was dry and tasteless. Soup was also cold and unappetizing.

Just okay
I agree w/the previous reviewer that the pastrami is just okay, but i thought the rye bread was vg and the pickle was average. the chicken noodle soup was good. overall, the prices are too high for the quality/quantity of food.
