Authentic
Having lived in Kyushu prefecture of Japan for a couple of years, I can say that Menchanko Tei's Hakata ramen is quite authentic. Their broth is very hearty and savory -- a key ingredient in Hakata ramen. Their O-den is tasty as well -- and quite true to how O-dens are served back in Japan. The only downside -- the broth that comes with O-den was not piping hot by the time it got to our table. But that's a minor quibble. Overall, I recommend it highly when you're in the midtown area.

Yum
I found out this place last week from this website...gave it a try....I ordered Miso ramen....I guess I prefer thin noodle better...but overall it wasn't bad. I saw a lot of people ordered Hakata Ramen (pork broth)...so I went back again in the same week and had Hakata Ramen..it was GOOD! YUM! =) The soup was great...it has the thin noodle in it...which I like! This week...I took my manager and coworkers there again...and they all really like this place! I highly recommend this place!

This place is amazing
I have only picked up from this restaurant, but the atmosphere felt legit...there where japanese business men everywhere so I felt like authentic japanese...one suggestion, get the the roasted pork and get extra pork because it is the best.

Great Japanese Diner Food
Fabulous noodles, good service and excellent value make this a great place for midtown lunch. It's my favorite spot in the winter. It can get very busy and loud during rush times, but how could it not be given the quality of the food and the great prices. The only real downside to this place is that they don't deliver. I really wish they'd change that.
