Pho Sho'
Totally DELISH. Had it delivered, so ignore my atmosphere & service ratings (though the delivery time was 10 minutes, tops). Spring rolls were perfect, and the pho (listed as beef broth noodles or something) was, hands down, the BEST I EVER HAD. Sorry about the all caps -- you'll understand once you try this holy shrine o' Pho. Amen.

Excellent Experience, enjoyed everything from the drinks to the desserts, I will be returning asap! Went with a large group and the atmosphere was perfect. I recommend everything, we basically tried the whole menu!

I don't get it...
This place is really strange. It's totally unlike any Vietnamese restaurant I've ever been to (and I'm Vietnamese from So Cal, so I've been to a lot) in that it's crowded with hipsters as if it's some kind of hot spot. Yo, it's a Vietnamese restaurant with no remarkable atmosphere to speak of. The food's actually good and pretty authentic with the exception of the pho. (And no one has to be Vietnamese to know that you can't order pho from a restaurant without the actual word "pho" in the name and expect it to be good.) But the prices... Ridiculous. The big bill we got was the cherry on top of a totally bizarre experience.

There are other Vietnamese restaurant!
We were excited to try out the relocated Mekong Restaurant. We were so disappointed by it. The food was just ok but it was not worth the price. The atmosphere actually felt obnoxious mostly due to one guy hanging out at the bar. We suspect he is the owner that the other reviewers mentioned. Needless to say I'll not be back or recommend it to anyone.

Great Place!!
I absolutely adore this place - from the service to the food. The waitstaff is very knowledgeable and attentive without being annoying. I also love their drinks The fried rices ,Pho, and pork belly were great! Even the asparagus was cooked to perfection with a nice crisp to it. Over all, this is a great place.

I want the old Mekong
I hate the new Mekong....Though the food is the same and the calamari is still the best anywhere the service is awful and the music is so loud I won't go in anymore. The old Mekong was a great place to recommend to my out of town friends and I brought many many people there. But now, unless it is a quiet Monday night I wouldn't bother going in. And the owner is AWFUL to even his old customers...I can't imagine what he is like to new ones he doesn't know.

The worst Pho Ever?
So, I went to Mekong today for a business lunch, as my contact wanted to stay nearby his office. Normally, I would've ventured to Chinatown for Vietnamese, but the reasonably good reviews on here made me confident that I could get something good to eat. Let me say that I'm rarely motivated to write negative reviews, but this was -literally- the worst bowl of "Pho" I have ever had (I put it in quotes for a reason). The soup was tasteless, the garnish didn't come separately and the meat was tough. My Vietnamese iced coffee wasn't much better - a gritty, weak, slightly bitter brew. While not every Vietnamese place needs to do a great job with Pho (or Ca Phe Sua Da for that matter), *if* you put these iconic dishes on the menu, you'd better be able to execute them at least well. The goi cuon were reasonably good, but the size and filling were cheap, at best.
