Mee Noodles (fka Ruby Rocks)

The ingredients are not quality. They cut corners and supplement with oil. Doesn't taste very good.

What happened?! They changed the name, changed the decor and changed the recipe of most of my favorite dishes. Very dissapointing. However, the quality is still better than most.

i was craving chinese food late at night and remembered this place in it's former incarnation. so i called at 1030p on a night they closed at 1045p and ordered a lot of food expecting them to not even take my order. they took the order, were polite about it, told me 10 mins, i showed up at 1045p as they were closing and the food was ready! went with standard chinese fare - noodles, egg rolls, wonton soup, etc etc - everything was great and better than your standard establishment. i'll be back.

I waited and waited for my food, no complaints from me but no one else was is the restaurant. Finally the server tells me she is sorry for the delay,she reminded the chef but he forgot my order. The place was empty, what happens when they are busy? Both the fried wontons and the pad thai were tasteless. I had high hopes for the place but I was very let down. I am not sure if I will try them again.

I used to order from this place often but was really put off by what happened to me this evening. I placed an order via seamless web and asked that it be delivered at 7pm. At 5:15 I got a call from my doorman that my food delivery had arrived. I explained to him that I wasn't expecting anything till 7pm. He told me that the delivery man didn't care and that he left my food at the front desk (which of course was already paid for- tip included). I called Ruby Rocks and the woman on the phone admitted the error however, didn't seem to care about rectifying the situation. I came home to a cold meal. I ended up having to throw out my Pad Thai because the rice noodles had absorbed all the sauce and it was dry and as hard as a brick. They have lost a long time customer.

walked in and asked for recommendations. girl working up front was both friendly and helpful - food was ready in less that 10 minutes. noodles were fantastic! portions large! very good. environment looks good - clean and trendy. though it seems customers are more likely to take-out than sit-down.

The newly revamped Ruby Rocks is even better than my old favorite. They now have delicious Thai food editions, and after recently traveling to Thailand, I know that the food tastes authentic. I highly recommend the thai basil fried rice, lemongrass chili sauce, drunken noodles, and the singapore mee fun. The lunch specials are nice big portions. They always pack their dishes with a lot of meat so it's also great value. Delivery is quick. I've never been there in person but they're very nice on the phone and their computerized system makes ordering very easy.
