Mee Noodles (fka Ruby Rocks)

Ordered for dinner & waited for almost an hour for the food. The soup was cold as well as the rest. Very rude front of house on the phone who lied twice that "it will be there in a minute." Yep, we have to call twice. Highly recommended if you are on a hunger strike.

I read a prior review about the General Tsao Chicken and ordered it. It is inedible. It's breaded, dry, chicken breasts in a ketchup like sauce. Nothing like regular General Tsao's chicken from any other Chinese restaurant in the world! Plus they combine the dumpling sauce with the dumplings. I guess to save money on the sauce cup. But the steam from the dumplings waters down the sauce and renders it tasteless! I'd call and ask for a refund. But I know what restaurants do with returned food. So in the garbage it goes. Unappetizing food. But on the plus side it isn't greasy.

Had been to Mee on 9th Ave and loved it. Went to 2nd Ave site on Sat night and had the BEST General Tso's chicken ever! Not greasy. Not overly sauced. The shrimp dumplings were excellent too. The atmosphere is a bit dark and spare, but ignore it. Food is excellent and a good value.

The dumplings with the peanut sauce are a little piece of heaven and their food is not greasy.

The food is great as is the staff. We always get large portion. I never leave feeling disappointed.

Have lived in NYC for 10+ years all over the city. We travel to this place from outside of the delivery zone--it's that's good. Quality, fresh ingredients. Awesome!

By far the best Thai food Ive eaten and the atmosphere was just right; low key but fancy while not over the top. Food & service were both great. Food was served quickly.
