Stumbled across this place by accident while strolling 9th ave. The decor is nothing -- the same flower patterns and simple pink seats as every other tacky chinese hole-in-the-wall throughout the world. But the food was the best (basic) chinese fare I've had outside of hong kong. DIVINE. Try the wonton noodle soup with roast pork: the pork is barbecued to perfection, with occasional crunchy roasted edges, and the wontons taste authentic and home made. My partner loved the rich tomato fried rice. The service too is simple, no-nonsense, ever-present and fast, just how I like it. This is place is nothing fancy and it's not a place to take a date. It is just dirt-cheap, super-tasty, delicious delicious real cantonese food. I will certainly be back.

i was glad to find out this Chinese restaurant around my home. The food was actually more than I expected. They are fast and tasty. However, never gonna eat in there with very poor ambience and lousy service. It's very unfortunate with its tasty food and scary eat-in experience.

If you don't care about atmosphere or like good Chinese food...This place is perfect. Insane prices, fresh, tasty, filling food. Some of the more traditional dishes can be sauce-heavy, but the sizzling noodles, soups, dumplings - awesome! I've been going for years.

Their food is ok but their service is not. I ordered for pick-up and when I came home, i realized that they missed the rice. I called them and ask them to bring the rice. (my apt is only 2 blocks away.) Initially they refused to bring the rice and asked me to come over again. I told to bring the rice since it was their mistake and the owner was telling me it would take very long since they are busy. (when I went to restaurant to pick up my food, i saw three delivery guys just hanging out there.) Probably their business is going very well. But their are very arrogant in terms of service. Also seems quite dirty!!!

I've been searching for a good noodle shop in midtown and decided to check MEE out based on the reviews. I placed a lunch order at 11:45, figuring delivery time would be around 45-minutes....wrong! It was here in literally 15 minutes. The sizzling plate of spinach noodles with shrimp & lobster sauce was delish. This menu is definitely going in my file.

I live very close to this place so I eat here a lot. I just discovered the curry noodle soups -- so good! The other food is good, but I haven't tried a lot of the more traditional chinese take out foods. egg rolls can be greasy, but still tasty. always a good deal.

Get it delivery or takeout, they have the best dumplings and a HUGE menu. The curry soup with dumplings and noodles is a personal fave to many.
