I was looking for a great chinese place nearby with cheap, good food, and I found it. I love sesame chicken, and their lunch special (which includes soup and rice) is 6.55. The serving size was generous, the service was prompt. They also offer complimentary chips and hot tea. I went for the first time today, and I can see myself becoming a regular.

Usually I grab the lunch special in the restaurant but this was my first time getting it delivered to my home, due to a leg injury. I don't understand what people's complaints were, my order was taken down competently, read back to me and delivered with RIDICULOUS speed. Sauces, utensils, cookies and chopsticks were all there in the bag and the food was nice and hot and the veggies just as fresh as always. I love that they have lunch specials available even on the weekend up to 5pm! My curry soup was tasty and huge in size, just like eating it at the restaurant, I had enough for 2 or 3 servings! The restaurant service is a little brusque at first, especially if they have a packed house but always super fast and efficient. Now that I've been going there awhile, they are always friendly to me as soon as I walk in. I haven't found any other chinese place that comes close to Mee Noodles here in Hell's kitchen, and I eat there at least once or twice a week.

I've had food delivered twice from this place, and have encountered extremely rude service both times. The first delivery guy couldn't communicate in English, misinterpreted the simple directions I had given him, and yelled at me in Chinese when he finally arrived at my office, as if it was my fault that he couldn't read basic English. The second delivery guy angrily glared at me, silently shaking his head without offering any explanation. Unbelievable. Considering the food is mediocre at best, it is safe to say that I am never ordering takeout from this place again.

We just placed an order and the person who took the order was probably the rudest person I have ever dealt with.. EVER. We had ordered here a few times previously with little issues, but this time around the lady taking the order wanted to charge us extra for side sauces that we had on all previous occasions received for free, and then started yelling at us when we asked her why were they charging us this time when we hadnt had to pay for side sauces before. The food generally is ok for a quick Chinese fix around midtown, but it's not the best Chinese food in midtown.

This competes with any of the chinatown eateries. The fried dumplings are unbelievable and the shrimp and tomatoes over noodles are a gourmet treat. The place is clean, small and noisey ." Ordering in" is marvellous, especially if you have a lot of people dining and can try all the goodies. The price is terrific.

I agreed that the food is not good. You want good Chinese food, go to one of the Chinatowns in Manhatten, Flushing, and 8th Ave. in Brooklyn. The food is loaded with MSG, although they claimed not to use it. I am always thirstry after a meal. Again, people will says it is the best but who are you comparing it to. Price and value is best not this "Americanized" chinese food.

THe food at this place is below average. I've lived in china for several years and I know what good chinese food is supposed to be. this is cheap, so people think that it's great, but it's just a good value. their soups are actually not bad, and they're not inauthetic, it's just like bad street chinese food you'd get in china. their non-soups, however, are deplorable. everything takes the same, and like not much. totally oily. the only reason i go here is b/c my coworkers drag me there sometimes when i'll order the most plain things possible so there's little room for error. Even by new york standards this place is subpar.
