amazing food
The best Chinese food I have had in the city. It is amazing, the fried rice is fantastic, the chicken is great, the prices are cheap and it is fast. I would recommend this to anyone, no need for a lengthy explanation. It is a small, simple plain restaurant, you walk in, order, and within a couple minuets you are eating amazing Chinese food.

good cheap food, rudest service ever
The food is good, but the service is miserable. they have no respect and if it weren't so conveinant i would never go here. i never eat there because I don't want to give them the pleasure of a tip. the woman on the phone is so grouchy, I can't stand talking to her. anyway. food is good, service is not. it's basically a lose/win situation.

really quick, cheap and tasty grub
This is not your standard Americanized Chinese food...so judging this restaurant alongside other cookie cutter restaurants that offer General Tso's Chicken lunch special isn't quite fair. The noodle soup choices are great and a fantastic value. Choose among different noodles and toppings (including meat or veggie dumplings), with or without a soup. Great for a light lunch or midday snack. Locations on the East or West side equally consistently satisfying. Their roast pork chow fun without soup is highly recommended. Pass the hot sauce!

Really Good
Love the food. Not so hot on the prices. But, I'd rather pay too much for good food than too much for bad food.

Good food, typical Chinese NY service
Some other reviews have stated that the service is rude. I don't know what planet these people usually eat Chinese food on, but here in NY surly service in Chinese restaurants is the rule, not the exception! That said, the food is good and it is cheap. That's about as much as you can expect in Chinese dining in NYC.

Very Rude Staff - Decent Cheap Chinese
I've been ordering and eating from this and one other Mee location for over three years. The food is good generic "cheap chinese" and they are incredibly fast. The vegetable sides are weak but Gen'l Tso, Pork with Garlic Sauce, and other lunch specials do the trick. The service has always been poor and lately they've been flat-out jerks. The woman on the phone will hang up on you, scream in your ear, and generally act like you are wasting her time. If my co-workers didn't like how cheap this place is, I'd never go again out of principle.

Horrible staff! Sub-par food
Why go here when there are so many other Chinese restaurants down the block that offer better tasting food and better service? I'd been living in the neighborhood for several years and every time I either order or eat in the restaurant, the cashiers go out of their way completely ruin my dining experience. Why?! They're demeaning, rude, abrupt and act as if they're doing me a favor taking my money. It's so frustrating.
