I find the food mediocre. Some things are good and some not that good. Mee Fun my child loves. I ordered to cantonese dishes and they always are incorrect. They are happy to fix them but I don't want to return them and have them changed. They make them with brown sauce- like the Moo Goo G Pan and the Chow Mein. Sometimes I want old fashioned Chinatown type Chinese food. This isn't the place. The wontons are okay but they are thick like the dumplings. I prefer thinner noodle on them. The vegetables are delicious. The service is nice and they are very eager to please. Maybe they are still getting on their feet. I have never eaten in the restaurant. I know the service for delivery is wonderful and quick.

I'm glad to see they're back on same block where they used to be. They're food is always consistent.

I am so glad to see this place back on First Avenue just two doors away from its old location. So, the new space is much less crowded: you actually walk in and go back to the counter/kitchen area, where in the old place you had to squirm past and there was nowhere to stand and it was hot hell with the steam. This is much, much nicer. As for the food: I ordered my usual, beef w/black shrooms, shrimp toast, Cantonese wonton soup; and it was all delicious, just as it used to be. They still don't have a proper shrimp egg roll, just some seaweed-wrapped nasty thing, and I will have to try out all my old faves one by one. I think there might be MSG snuck in, though, as I had heart palpitations after. So you might want to consider that. But all in all, a welcome return.
