Thin Crust Margherita Pizza was great! Cappuccino was incredible! But I abhore the service from the barkeepers and the wait staff. Bus boys stole the show for me. And then there was the cappuccino.

Disappointing pastas. I eat out 5-6 nights a week, and my pasta and my friend's were not up to par. The cream sauce was sour-tasting, seasonings off; they use pre-grated cheese at the table, no offer of fresh pepper. The homemade pasta was not tasty.... The bread tasted old. Service was far too rushed. Pastas came to the table literally in under 3 mins -- not a good sign. And the bread followed it 2 mins after! Both the busboy and waiter tried to clear our plates within 10 mins while we had this food in our mouths -- should have let them, but we were famished and had to be at the theater, so no time to go elsewhere. I did give the place good marks on atmosphere -- which was nothing special, but fine. Oh, and strange crowd there -- not at all foodies: table next to me was loud and asking for Coronas, a white zinfandel, and coffee with dinner. Will not go back unless to have a glass of wine at the bar before another movie, but def will not eat there again.

We love this place. I have been to Italy several times and have even cooked with Italians. This place is great and I am not sure what the last reviewer is talking about. Must have been a bad night (for them). Anyway, you won't be disappointed!

I have been here at mediterraneo many times, and the thing that i like the most of this restaurant is that every time they treat me like i am part of the family. The staff are all from italy and they are all extremely nice and friendly. The food is as good as it gets, like being in italy. The only think i didn't like at mediterraneo was a couple of people sitting next to me that clearly had no clue of what italian food is and from the moment they sat started to complain about everything, even for the mineral water. I don't understand now why somepeople have to criticize italian food when they have never lived in italy.

Are these reviewers going to the same restaurant I went to? Where they are correct on the hovering service (you can always see many waiters "waiting" in your peripheral vision), our experience with the food was worse. Our linguine with meat sauce and papardelle with duck ragu came undercooked, and I like my pasta al dente. When we sent it back, the linguine was now starchy and overcooked and the papardelle was exactly the same as before. We paid for our wine, left, and went to our favorite Italian near our apt.

I love the food at Mediterraneo . The scene is great and the food is just amazing iam there with my family and friends all the time. The staff and owners couldn't be nicer. If you haven't been there I insist you must try it.

Though the food's slightly on the expensive side, it is sumptous! The waiters are mildly presumptous and do hover around you when you don't want them. I have been there thrice.
