Super nice Service
Service here is super nice and sweet. The food is good. The chicken in the tika masala was mostly dark meat and fatty - but the flavors overall were decent. I wish it was spicier. A lot of food for 7 bucks - but the flavor could be a bit bolder. Overall a good experience. Looks like there is a lot to try from and some of it may be way better than others. I get the feeling that some dishes are excellent. ...Got to find those hidden gems! Eating here felt good too. Like I was helping out a "Mom and Pop" type place.

Incredible food in a run-down joint
So I get Indian food pretty regularly, and I've tried all the cheap Indian buffet-style places around... and Medina is head and shoulders above the rest. I believe the place is Bangladeshi/Bengali and Muslim, so the food is a distinctive style that really is a breath of fresh air compared to the oil-heavy fare served up by most cheap Indian places. The food is authentic as hell (I've lived in India), cheap and very very good. I definitely recommend the Butter Chicken. I haven't tried anything off the menu yet, but I'd imagine it's as good as the steam-tray stuff. You probably wouldn't want to eat-in here, and I haven't tried the delivery, but the take-out is quick, cheap and tasty!
