just fell in
just fell into this place last night while walking down 9th ave. with friends. it was a nice night so we sat in the back garden. very pleasant space. had some beers and wine and small plates and well as a couple of entrees. the service was attentive without being overbaring and the food was very interesting. they have a relatively small entree menu but then tell you about alot of specials. we had pasta with lobster in a lobster bisque sauce which was excellent. the only negative and this is common with these tapas places it that it tends to get expensive as you keep ordering small plates because you want to try more things. I would definately return.

wow!
my partner & i live around the corner from MEDI & we finally decided to give it a go on christmas eve. incredible food. we tend to "graze" rather than entree, so we had the wild mushrooms w/feta, the spinach w/pine nuts, the fried baby artichokes (yum) & the most succulent octopus i have ever had . it was so amazing i had to go ask the chef how he did it. MEDI has a downstairs area for large groups as well as a garden outside for warm weather seating. service was outstanding. wine superb & prices totally reasonable for the quality & portions. check out the restroom sink! kudos galore!

Great new place!
We ended up here by chance and it was great. The wine list is extensive with lots of reasonable choice and the food was inventive and delicious. Great addition to the neighborhood.

Fantastic new wine bar!
I can't say enough good things about this place. Two of my girlfriends and I went last night for drinks and a nosh, and just loved it here. The service was impeccable...we had to wait a few minutes for a seat at the bar and the manager brought us over complimentary champagne while we waited! the food was great, highly recommend the fried artichokes and the greek salad. Inexpensive wine options...all around this is a great wine bar. highly recommended!!
