Small portions, overpriced
Was not impressed at all.. portions were tiny and it was extremely expensive for what they gave. The service left a lot to be desired as well.

Small, dry, underwhelming.
We really wanted this to be our new favorite East Village opening - but alas, this is not to be. Dry balls for sure. Not enough sauce to accompany the dry balls, and the cheese fries, well the potatoes weren't seasoned and the cheese was rubbery. Come on Meatball factory, please pack your knives and go home. Or at least try to improve your game.

Great Balls
My friends and I came to The Meatball Factory last Thursday. We didn't have to wait long to be seated. The staff was very helpful in explaining the menu as it was hard to understand. After getting a Beer and some recommendations from our waitress,we were well on our way. First we had the salad .I had the cherry bacon, and my friend had the simple. They were both good but the simple was just that...simple.Next we tried the pizza, and man that was real good, much better than we had expected. Finally the Balls. We both tried the Turducken with the truffle sauce and I can see why the place was filling up fast. They were just amazing. I only wish we tried some other balls to compare,as we both ordered the same thing. We will be back to check them out soon. The decor by the way was just ok...nothing fansey...

Good Concept, Poor Execution
Who doesn't love some good meatballs? I know my girl does so we went for dinner here. The atmosphere is friendly and inviting, the exposed brick walls are a nice touch. The waitress we had was wonderful and knowledgeable of the menu. The menu is set up just like the competition (The Meatball Shop) but the actual balls leave you unsatisfied. In general the food lacked seasoning and nothing was cooked to order, it was all reheated. It was obvious that the meatballs must have been cooked much earlier in the day because they were dry and tasteless. We tried four different types and they all came out within two minutes (as well as the sides) and just weren't really any good. Perhaps brunch would be better since the food would be fresher. The Meatball Shop has much better execution. I really wanted to like this neighborhood restaurant but the food just wasn't that good.
