Great pub, but...
Let me offer a caveat that I really like this place a lot... The food is good... The service is great... But the last few times I have been there it seems as though they may have some kind of plumbing problem... The entire restaurant smelled like a port-a-potty... I really hope they fix this problem as McGee's is one of the better Irish pubs in the city...

love it
we come to nyc every year....and we come back to this pub every time...in fact, we stay at a near by hotel to come to this bar....the bartenders are amazing and we always meet new friends each time we come here (which doesn't always happen in the city)....prices are reasonable, the area is nice, and the atmosphere is cozy. we love this place!

Love the pub!
My husband and I love McGee's. The staff are great and the food is quite tasty. We've brought friends who were visiting NYC from out of town here and they all loved it - we 've even brought big groups here and found everything worked our perfect, A great down-to- earth place to grab some food and a drink.

Went to ny for paddys day called into mcGees, just around the corner from our hotel. first person we chat to a native of my home town in ireland. lovely pub, great atmostphere, food is A1. try it

You have to try it
McGee's is a perfect place to grab a drink with friends. The food is delicious (with a great selection to choose from). The bartenders are amazing! They are outgoing and friendly and provide great service. The prices are very reasonable. I highly recommend McGee's.

Best bar in my area!!
McGee's is one of the best places I've ever been to, bar none. With 5 big screen TV's (not to mention the TV's on the second floor) and a subscription to the NFL package, you can watch any big game of the weekend with a great view. They also have respectable drink deals including a "Beer of the month" for $3.50 among others. These packages along with great bar food make for a great experience everytime I go.

Loved It!
We were seated right next to the fireplace downstairs...the food was delicious and the waiter, while not overly personable, was very efficient. I felt the price was very reasonable for the amount and caliber of food served...I'd definitely return!
