Not as expected
So me and my bf went for our 5 th year anniversary. First off, we were waiting for a while so I had to actually go up to the host and tell them we have plans so we needed to be seated. Then we were told we can pick certain things from the menu and if we choose something else there's a surcharge. I mean really? In top of that we were given the wrong menu. I was extremely disappointed. So we ordered and the waiter was not the friendliest person he could have had more energy but whatever. Our Risotto came in and it was undercooked. But thy were kind enough to change it . But overall it was tasty .

Good food, but the rest didn't live up to it.
We went to maze before going to a show, The food was good though we expected more, the design has a diner feel only with dim lights, the service is not great, overall it's worth the pre fix but I wouldn't come there for more..

Unexpectedly Delicious!
I went to Maze last night with some friends, and we all tried the Restaurant Week menu. I was looking forward to the meal, but was not too familiar with the restaurant beforehand, so went with little expectation. The food here was all delicious -- I had the roasted potato with quail egg and Prosciutto to start, Halibut with gnocchi and squash as my main, and the chocolate pudding with ice cream and peanut butter dust for dessert. Each course that came was increasingly delicious, and everyone else agreed. I tasted the beef strip sirloin, which was cooked perfectly and came with a delicious tomato relish. The carrot cake dessert was also fantastic -- very rich. The meal was delicious, the service was great, and the restaurant was beautiful. I would definitely re-visit.

Excellent food/small portions
Its been said in every review so far, the portions are small and the prices are high, blah blah blah. However, the food is fantastic and the service, impeccable. If you enjoy tapas and your wallet is far too full, then I would highly recommend Maze. All the courses we tried were delicious but particularly the lobster and the filet of beef with shortrib (if I go back, I'm just ordering three of those). The restaurant itself is beautiful and every member of the staff I encountered, from host to busser, was friendly and helpful. I would love to go again, just as soon as I can afford it....

Small isn't the word
I went here recently for a celebration dinner with two other people. This is a place you come to if you plan on impressing a client or a new dating interest. Food tasted great, no denying that, but small isn't the word. Our server "warned" us a few times just how small the portions were but we still all had a great laugh when the courses arrived because it wasn't enough to feed a child. Our server was skilled and new the menu through and through but we were all intimidated by her. (We were scared to ask for more bread). If we needed something it was hard to get any of the staff's attention. Let's just say we spent about $200 and we all wanted to stop at a drive thru after leaving Maze.

Divine food in small, pricey portions
Enjoyed a celebratory dinner for 2 here recently. The dishes are small portions, like tapas, priced $12-16 each & they recommend 3-4 per person. The food was heavenly but if you arrive ravenous, be prepared to stay hungry until about your 3rd course, as you can polish off these delicious dishes in just a few bites & are left eagerly awaiting the next course. Luckily, the table bread is quite tasty & will help in between servings! I thoroughly enjoyed the asparagus salad, scallops & mushroom risotto my husband had the same salad, along w/ the beef & the lamb, which were great too. Lovely presentation of food, by the way. For dessert, I had the chocolate fondant w/ salted almond ice cream - wonderfully decadant! My husband had the tasty apple trifle w/ the donut. Our servers were cordial though one waitress was rather humorless (though on top of the game). Drinks cost about $10-20. Overall, a delicious meal. I'd eat here again, but not anytime soon...it's pretty expensive for what you get (expectedly, given Ramsay's celebrity) , plus we like to try different places. But I recommend trying this out if you're interested, it's definitely worth it for the food.

Food is the only semi-highlight here
I really wanted to check out Gordon Ramsey's Maze at the London, and I did so this evening with my wife. While the food was very average, (and highly unsatisfying) the service and the atmosphere were actually worse. Not once, at any time did someone ask us how our food was, because has they done so, we would have commented fairly negatively. Everything at Maze was generally overdone, or poorly prepared. Really just an incredible disappointment when going to Chef Ramsey's restaurants. The staff was very sloppily presented. Simply unspeakable, and the Chef should think about checking out his establishments more often... I just wouldn't bother with this experience.
