So I called at the last minute to get a reservation and the reservations told me that a party just cancelled and they could take us tomw (Saturday) at 8! Great! We show up and are escorted through the dining room to a tiny room in back of the dining room and are seated in the farthest corner. Ok, fine. Well the food is all coming out of the same kitchen, right? Well we've been here for over 90 minutes and as I write this we ate still waiting for our entrees. Hope they are better than the what the kitchen is able to do.

I can't figure out the fuss about this place. The food was sloppy, and WAY too rich. There were bites of tastiness, yeah, but too indulgent to actually finish most of anything. Except the apple granita: that was a refreshing salvation to an otherwise ur-gluttonous repast. Cute waiters, though.

Awesome new addition to Flatiron. Everything we ate was crazy delicious. And one of the biggest Bourbon lists I've ever seen, yes please!

I go to a lot of the trendy restaurants around NYC and I have to say this is the best kept secret (not for long) in the city. It is the same chef from 11 Mad and you can definitely taste it. Awesome date spot, a little pricey, but you won't be disappointed!
