Great japanese food - the best in the area. Small space so don't expect to stretch out and stay for hours. The place is constantly packed but you always can get a table. The staff is super friendly and the food is unbelievably fresh and put together very nicely. Highly recommend the Volcano Roll or Chicken Teriyaki bento if you are not into sushi.

I was very impressed the minute I walked in to the restaurant. The staff is very attentive even on a busy weekend night. I never had to worry about having to ask twice or wonder where they were. Not mention the fish is fresh and delicious. We tried numerous special rolls and were not disappointed with any of our [select]ions. Our order took no longer than 15 mintues or less. I'll definitely try this place again.

I usually order out and pick up my order because its so close to my apt, but this time I decided to have it delivered and it literally was at my door within 10 mins. The fish is fresh and delicious. The prices are great and the service is wonderful. I highly recommend this restaurant I give it high ratings!

Gary and Wendy are the most down-to-earth friendly owners you will ever meet. You are never a stranger with their friendly and caring nature. Their fish is always fresh and delicious. Their special rolls are indeed special. I found their original tiny Matsu while doing temp work at nearby hospital. I went there everyday for lunch and was never disappointed. They eventually moved two doors down and while still loud and hectic lunchtime, dinner is more serene.

This is our favorite place to order when we are on call! Quick delivery, consistent quality.

Gary and Wendy make the Japanese Food scene come alive! Nowhere can you find fresher fish. They put all the other places to shame. It is the Japanese equivalent to Cheers... "where everybody knows your name". Couldn't help but notice the search for more soy sauce comment before... Gary taught (me) this salt freak that too much soy sauce spoils the flavor. Keep up the good work. I recommend hmm.. EVERYTHING.
