The Best Sushi Ever!
This hiddden treasure on the UES is amazing! I never order off the menu. I tell them what I like and I've had the most amazing meals there. Try the "potato tree" and "king crab legs". To die for!! The bes tsushi I've ever eaten!!

I love matsu!
Matsu is great. I heard about it from a friend and had to check it out. So I went last night. The servers were all very friendly and the food were very good. It was a busy night but the server did a excellent job and was very attentive and quick. I will definitely be going back.

Subpar Food
Beef, chicken are awful in terms of taste and the sauce they make. Seaweed salad is inedible! Not real Japanese food at all. Save your money and order delivery from somewhere else. So many better choices!

Best sushi in the neighborhood
I lived around the neighborhood and order from Matsu all the time!!! Not mention their fish are always fresh, They also have the most interesting varieties of fish ever! Last couple time of visiting, I tried the live sea urchin which not many other restaurants have it throughout the city, great taste and well done presentations too! The waitresses in the restaurant are always friendly, and their delivery is always within half hours. I strongly recommend this restaurant, it is definitely better than the restaurants nearby!

Delicious Sushi!
This place has delicious sushi especially their tuna, salmon and yellowtail. It is always fresh and considerably reasonable prices compared to the other sushi restaurant in the area. The waitress are always nice. I would definitely recommend.

I don't understand the hype
I have dined in at this sushi restaurant 3 times and each time was unsatisfied, but decided to give it another chance because of its many positive reviews. No more! On my last visit, I ordered the King Crab Roll as well as a vegetarian roll of peanut and avocado. The King Crab Roll was awful. It was bland, poorly rolled - kept falling apart when touched - and after I found a bone/cartilage of some sort in it for the 3rd time, I gave up. The vegetarian roll was fine, standard. I can't offer specific menu choices from my other visits, but they were also poor and not to my liking. For the price, I was expecting more. Check out Ko Sushi or Sushi Suki instead.

great, best on the ues
We're lucky to have this place on the UES, one of the best values - always great food, always friendly service on the phone, and correct everytime. can't ask for anything more - except recently noticed they are taking longer for deliveries - maybe it's just getting too popular!
