Obsessed
This place was packed last night...food was delish and the servers were flexible, accomodating, and lovely. Such a cute spot...I suggest stopping by if in the area!

Loved this place!
Walked in thinking this was a low key restaurant that would be "okay" and was very pleasantly surprised! What a cute little hidden find! The atmosphere is great and the food fantastic! I highly recommend Matsu to sushi lovers - a new favorite spot on the UES!

Happy customer
Great little place. While there is not a lot of seating, this place is always crowded around lunchtime as it gets a lot of business from the hospital. The rolls are very fresh and the lunch special is one of the best deals in town.

Everything was delicious!
I eat here on a regular basis and have yet to be disappointed. The food is delicious, the service is great and the prices are reasonable. King crab appetizer, baby oyster and Aji are my favorite dishes. I definitely recommend Matsu.

Not worth it
Went there tonight with some friends. Despite the fact that we had a reservation, there were no tables available when we arrived on time - we had to wait outside for 30 minutes for a table to open. What kind of a restaurant takes reservations & doesn't hold a table for you? The food was not authentic at all. None of the staff were Japanese nor spoke a word of Japanese. The atmosphere was tacky and loud. Will never go there again.

Just Great
I love this restaurant!!! It has amazing service, amazing food, and an amazing atmosphere! I come here all the time and it always puts me. In a good mood. The sushi chef's are exquisite! Alright, bye!
