Love this place!
My boyfriend and I went here on Friday night and had the best meal. The calamari was amazing and the pastas were the best I have had since my trip to Italy. I will be back for sure this week! Loved the cocktails too.

Not worth the money
Went to Masten lake a few nights ago and what a huge disapointment We sent back a dish that was under cooked and then the chef refused to cook it more. the wait staff was aloof and the atmosphere was cold and boring. I will not go back again. There are too many good choices in the hood.

Fastastic Cocktails, Superb cuisine
After reading the New York Times write up about Masten Lake I had to try it. It did not disappoint. The atmosphere was charming without being pretentious. The cocktails with lovely, and the service with quick and efficiant. The exuberant chef Angelo Romano came over to our table to say hi to see how we liked our food. I thought that was such a nice touch. I highly recommend the the house-made cappellacci.
