Outstanding
Really delicious food. It was all perfect, food, service, atmosphere. They are really nice here. We didn't like the desserts, we ordered three different ones and thought they were all terrible. So skip dessert, but other than that it's a fantastic place. Can't wait to go back!

So good, wish there was more
Had a great dinner here last night. So warm and cozy for winter. Service great. Impressive menu. Loved our table (but I think we were lucky, some of the other deuces looked cramped). We both did the 4 course tasting menu, but the portions in some cases were almost laughable. That was a bummer. It was like the appetizers were an amuse bouche...just tiny. One scallop! Anway, feel bad because the food and experience was so lovely, but not only were the portions so small, but it made the overall value pretty poor considering the prices.

Amazing
Simply put, the best meal i've ever enjoyed in NYC. we started with the 3-course tasting menu, and ended up adding 6 courses off the regular menu to try. everything was cooked to perfection and they employ double servicers so a couple is served at the exact same time, heightening the experience. a 3-course tasting is actually more like 7. Although pricey, it is worth every single penny. You will not be disappointed.

Not worth the price
Went here with a group of eight and sat in the middle of the room on a long commumnal-esque like table. Sitting in the center was cramped and definitely not the most desirable seat in the house. The side tables looked more inviting. The table ordered the Chef's Tasting menu where they are suppose to cater the meal to each person on the table. The food was uninspired- most of the plates were identical to those offered on the regular tasting menu. Many of the people on the table also received identical items- so much for tailoring to individuals. To top it off the food was nothing special. After spending $300 in a tailored tasting menu, alcohol, tip I headed to for pizza...

Simply perfect
Excellent, friendly service. Offerings which pushed me to expand out of my normal "safe" eating choices, but still within my comfort zone. Everything I tried was presented well and tasted delicious.

Good, but not good value
At the encouragement of the waiter we decided to order the chef tasting menu. The selling point… it was a special menu and the chef would be surprising us. We were very disappointed to learn that most of the dishes were on the regular menu. In particular because the tasting menu was $95 each and we could have re-created it for a lot less and with larger portions. The table next to us ordered a la carte and they had 3 of the same dishes we had, except twice the portions. Needless to say felt a bit hoodwinked. Overall, nice restaurant (not a must) but I would not do the tasting menu. Also, surprised at the lack of red wines below $100.
