I was excited about the $ 45 Valentine Day menu (appetizer, entree and dessert). The appetizer was good but the entrée and the dessert were very disappointing. For instance for the entree, I ordered the roast duck. It said it comes with vegetables, there was barely any. It was only the meat with some sauce. The dessert seemed like a cake out of a box, not freshly made. Even the bread, it was not fresh. I am not the one to write negative reviews but I am doing it because it was very disappointing and I hope it will help them improve.

Love Marseille!! Bring NYC and out of towner groups (5-13 people) here one a quarter for dinners and lunch. Prix fixe menus and the location (near Grand central, and Port Authority and Penn Sta) make it a great pre-theater dinner restaurant site, or post theater its an easy commute home from here. The service is accommodating and pleasant and they don't rush us..when folks want to chat over the food. Everyone I've brought here raves about quality of their food and good service. Love their Pistou soup and Moules Frites and Pumpkin Pots for dessert.

This is a great restaurant with delicious food and decor but the service did disappoint. Went there last saturday and the hostess was not in front where she should have been, instead she was somewhere mingling with other workers. When my girlfriends and I asked for a table she ignored us for 10 minutes then asked if we have a reservation (there were plenty of tables available). The waiters were excellent and took care of us very well. Unfortunately I would have to give it a 3 for service because of the hostess who is the first person we typically see and we later saw her getting into arguments with other customers.

Best casual restaurant in the neighborhood. Just plain reliable.

I had been wanting to eat here for years, it seems. It did not really do anything special for me. My ravioli was rich to the point of being inedible, and the cous cous that my family had was fine. The lamb in the cous cous was absolutely delicious, I will say. But I don't think it's worth the price...go next door to Nizza for a better value and absolutely incredible food.

I had a nice experience here. Arrived and 930 and felt slightly rushed. overall the food was good and decent price for NYC dining.
