Average food, not the best service
This is a great restaurant with delicious food and decor but the service did disappoint. Went there last saturday and the hostess was not in front where she should have been, instead she was somewhere mingling with other workers. When my girlfriends and I asked for a table she ignored us for 10 minutes then asked if we have a reservation (there were plenty of tables available). The waiters were excellent and took care of us very well. Unfortunately I would have to give it a 3 for service because of the hostess who is the first person we typically see and we later saw her getting into arguments with other customers.

Hell's Kitchen Neighbor
Best casual restaurant in the neighborhood. Just plain reliable.

Not what I expected...
I had been wanting to eat here for years, it seems. It did not really do anything special for me. My ravioli was rich to the point of being inedible, and the cous cous that my family had was fine. The lamb in the cous cous was absolutely delicious, I will say. But I don't think it's worth the price...go next door to Nizza for a better value and absolutely incredible food.

Great place /theatre district
I had a nice experience here. Arrived and 930 and felt slightly rushed. overall the food was good and decent price for NYC dining.

Sunday Brunch
Had an amazing Brunch here on a date. We were 10 mins late for our 2:30 reservation and they sat us right away, even though the kitchen was closing in minutes. D's eggs Benedict were done perfectly. I had the Merguez Sausage & Egg Scramble which was nothing I expected and everythign I wanted. Fluffy eggs and flavorful lamb sausage, with possibly the best homefries ever-- salty pestoy crispy on the outside, soft potato on the inside. With the perfect little salad on the side. Cute little carrot muffins! Lovely atmosphere. perfect for bringing parents, in-laws, date!, first date, surprise date. Tad pricey but reasonable for brunch. Amazing service.Oj is not amazing-- personally dont really believe its fresh. but other than that its all great.

overpriced
ordered pesto pasta. it arrived with zero apparent pesto, bathed in melted cheese and butter. Even my friend noticed that there was no green whatsoever on the dish. Afterwards I felt tempted to vomit to get the feeling of having downed an entire vat of butter from my system. My friend ordered minestrone soup and we both tried it and agreed that it tasted as if it were merely a microwaved serving of Campbell's soup-- taken straight out of the can. Bland and flat taste. Experience felt cheap, but you wouldn't guess it would be from the prices on the menu. Disappointing.

Always excellent!
As both frequent visitor to the City, and as a definite "foodie" couple, we can say that this is our favorite Midtown French eatery. We have dined here several times and have always had a great experience. It is a great combo of food, Hells Kitchen charm and romance. We do suggest sitting outside when the weather permits..We also suggest anything with duck on the menu since it is prepared perfectly...
