Picked this place for my retirement dinner after reading reviews. Am glad I did! Their appetizers were top quality: seafood tower (plateau royale), crostini with tuna, watercress salad and kale salad. The entrees of roasted sea bass, po' boy fried oyters, and lobster roll were raved about. But the best surprise was the special for the night (a Sunday), rabbit cooked in a maple and balsamic vinegar base. Superb! I hear another special, braised short ribs, is also a favored. Ambience and music, subdued and intimate, is very much to my liking. Will be back, especially during jazz night and also happy hour when prices make it doubly worth it.

Love this spot. The ambiance, the service and the seafood is incredible. They also have a great happy hour which I appreciate if you can get there for it you will get a seat. I love seeing spots like this pop up in Astoria. Super cool owner you might recognize from Sparrow, which is another amazing restaurant/bar.
