to start, the premise is really cute, but the "ride" to Mars was old, dirty and the movie screen was cracked. It could use an update. Once inside, we were "treated" to the most awful and expensive hamburgers, inedible nachos and soggy fries. Our children refused to eat most of it and at $16 per burger, we expected better. my husband didn't even eat anything, as the menu didn't appeal to either of us. I had a salad that was most likely the best thing on the menu. How can you ruin lettuce after all? The bathroom floors were dirtier than the NYC subway and the arcade was out of date. bit waste of time and money. Even our kids wouldn't go back.

I took my 7 and 11 year old nephews to this restuarant. The kids didn't even enjoy it. The food was not good, barely a step above a cafeteria. The ride was like being in a bumpy car, uneventful. Complete waste of money.

This was our family's first visit to Mars 2112 so we didn't know what to expect. The "ride" to Mars was insane but alot of fun!! When it moved it scard the crap out of me. It was scary when it moved alot, but it was cool. Then I went to go eat. We had great service. I got the minne sliders. When I took one bight my tastebudes went on a jurny. The costumes were incredable. The girl alians name is'' Cute Pie.'' The boy alians name is ''Captin Iron.'' Then I went to the arcade. There is 40 games. Then I went home. I had the best day ever.

I was taken to Mars 2112 by friends after a Broadway play and I was taken away by the experience. There was a long line to enter the restaurant but it moved quickly. The elevator ride was a fun and memorable trip. Immediately the child in me came out and I was able to see, feel, the feelings of a child. The elevator doors opened and I was transported to another planet with aliens who were warm and motivated towards making your experience out of the world. The food and entertainment by the Martians put a smile on my face. The cost was everything I expected. When you consider what we pay for junk food, we by or the inflated menu prices at restaurants that have no character but name only, the food cost difference at Mars 2112 was reasonable. Think of what you spend at an amusement park e.g. rides and food, Mars is by far the best. I have recommended this to my friends and everyone comes back in love with the experience/restaurant.

My boyfriend and I took my son out for to dinner for his 7th birthday. The theme of going to mars was interesting. Nonetheless, the place wasn't all it was hyped up to be. The atmosphere was nice, but it was poorly lit and hard to see the menu, On top of that, they only had 2 martians for the whole restaurant which only came to your table once. The food, in my opinion, was overly priced. My boyfriend had a chicken sandwich. Nothing different from a piece of chicken, bacon, lettuce, and tomato on a bun with some fries, but he said McDonald's was better. I had the penne, wasn't the best that I've had. My son had the chicken fingers, which was no different from Friday's or Applebees but still priced like it was gourmet. We had the Oreo dessert afterwards. To be honest, I've had better. For the 3 of us, it came out to $75, not including tip. There was also an entrance fee of $2/ person which was added to the bill. I guess if you've got the money and looking to experience the hype, then try it out. If you're just looking for a good place to eat, Applebees and Time's Square is just a few blocks away.

I went to Mars 2112 with my uncle on 12/13/08. It was the best time here because the service was friendly, a martian, Orion, came to our table and we took pictures with me and him, and the food there was good! I took a real picture with Orion from a pink Martian, which I don't know her name, and went to the gift shop to get some things I like to buy. The products were a little pricy, but me and my uncle had the best time here! Maybe we can come here again in St. Patrick's day.

Charging patrons an admission fee to enter a restaurant? We skipped the elevator "ride" on entry and $10 was still tacked on to our check. Our waitress told us we were paying for the "theme!" (Does that mean Rainforest Cafe, Hard Rock or numerous others should start charging people to eat at their restaurant?! They have more taste.) Mars 2112 hasn't been updated in 10+ years and it shows. It's rundown and the over-priced food is average.
