Kids had a great time!!
We took the kids to Mars last night before the Christmas Show. You can't beat it's proximity to Radio City. Kids had a great time in the game room. Everyone enjoyed their dinner. Ribs, chicken wings, quesadillas and burgers all very good. Yummy fries! Portions are large enough to share. This is a great family restaurant in the heart of the theater district. We will definitely be returning.

Don't bother
After I walked down the dirty outside staircase, I was confronted with a notice taped to the door that there is an admission charge of $2 per person. This was emphasized by the greeter and how it would be added to the bill. Then, she tells us that the ride is not working. Sounds like it's been that way for a while based upon what I'm reading here. I was with my 9-year old who was disappointed - we turned around and walked out. I'm not sure I'm going to gamble an $8 cab ride to return. They should either clean up the outside appearance and fix the ride or shut down and go out of business!

ugh
Brought out 10 and 7 year-old grandsons for dinner and it was just plain terrible. The spaceship was broken, but we were charged $2.00 per person to enter anyway. The arcade games were way overpriced (and I LIVE in Manhattan!) and most were not operating properly. The service was extremely slow, though it was not crowded. The food was terrible, cold and not presented in any interesting way. The 'characters' looked like they'd rather be getting root canals.

Not Worth The Trip
The cheesy spaceship wasn't working. The food was terrible and overpriced. The service was laughable. The waiters looked bored and depressed.This place is a total dump. STAY AWAY!

Great Day in Mars
Spend the Afternoon in NYC with 6 and 9 yrs old son . My children loved it , the Staff was very friendly and helpful ..... My husband and I had the Juicy hamburger ever ..... we enjoyed it and Loved to see that our children had fun !!!!!

unpleasant
where should i begin.. the simulated spaceship ride was terrible did not even excite the kids. the hostess was no where to be found after 15 mins someone showed up & sat us the waitress took about 20mins to take our drink & food order AND NEVER CAME BACK food came before the drinks which took another 30 mins about 4 other servers helped but were not efficient either our cocktails had absolutly no liquor in them & we had to send them back twice the food was not worth the price its more like take out fast food served on a plate finally we called for the manager who was extremely sarcastic and condesending but removed everything we were unsatisfied with off the bill which was everything except the quesedillas. DO NOT GO HERE I WOULD NOT RECOMEND TO ANYONE! & the wait staff seem like they all came from MARS!

Like eating in a Bad SciFi Movie
Eating here was like going back in time to a really bad '80's SciFi movie. The food was ok but expensive for what you get. The ride to Mars simulator is poor, screen is old and worn out. I would NOT go back here or recommend it.
