One of the best falafel place around
This is one of the best falafel place in mid-town. Plus, their tahini and hot sauace are real good. I have been their regular customer for last 3 years and the quality of food has always been consistent. Thier mint tea is pretty good too.

Really good food and value for money!
Had a fantastic falafel sandwich and will totally go back! Service was fast, friendly and having lived in the Middle East for over 10 years, can say with confidence that the food was so authentic, great quality and and EXTREMELY TASTY. The place is small, but reasonable for a group of 5-6 people ... the interior decor is really nice and I would highly recommend this place!

fresh and a great value
I've been for lunch many times (I like alcohol with dinner). The ingredients are always fresh and the staff and other patrons are pleasant. Not gourmet, but a very satisfactory experience.

not the best middle eastern food...
So I just ordered from this place for the first time today. I was slightly dissappointed at the quality of food after all the great reviews. The flavors were ok, but the grapeleaves were mushy and the ground lamb was really tough-- like not juicy at all. It's not that expensive, so id don't feel ripped off, but the sandwhich only had 3 pieces of meat, which is kind of ridiculous-- I'm not the biggest eater, but even I think I'll be hungry soon! Overall, good try, but I just wish they paid a little more attention to quality.

An All-Around Winner: Food/Service/Ambience
I can't say enough good things about Marrakesh. I discovered it quite by accident when I happened to look down instead of up on this ethnic-food paradise of a street (it's chock full of authentic Indian, Korean, Japanese, Chinese and Mexican restaurants). What I found as soon as I entered was amazing: intricately beautiful Moroccan lighting and antiques; warm, sweet-natured service; and both Moroccan and Western specialties -- plus freshly made ice mint tea -- that were an absolute knock-out. I ordered the huge vegetarian platter that came with generous amounts of falafel, hummus, baba ganoush, tablouleh, and it all tasted like it was made from scratch a few minutes before it was served. Plus, the restroom is sparkling clean and the whole place is spotless. Prices are super-reasonable; I paid under $15 not including tax and tip. Highly recommended whether you're eating alone or in a group, which would allow you to share many of the exotic traditional specialties. Bravo, Marrakesh!

Great Wraps!
I visited my friend on the UES for lunch and we decided to give this place a try. We ordered take out and both got different wraps. I got the kefta kabob wrap and it was AMAZING! So much so that I went back the next Saturday for a late lunch. Although we were the only ones in there and the A/C wasn't working, I still had an enjoyable experience. I recommend getting take-out and eating in the park.

Pretty pretty good
Had it delivered to the office, and it was delivered around the time frame they said. Food was great- they give a good amount for the platters and they don't overfill you with too much food. I can't wait to check this place out!
