ok food
Food is ok. I tried the chicken kebab platter, and although all the sides (babaghanoush, falafel, pita etc) were great, the kebab itself was not tender. Hot sauce provided is great along with the food.

Absolute Gem of a Place
The food was simply wonderful. The portions were very generous. The extra bread and taheene and the free Mint Tea was a lovely surprise and something one can never expect in NY. The atmosphere reminded me of a quaint wayside Moroccan travellers restaurant. The hostess was very polite and quick to respond. The prices were just unbelievable for the amount and quality of food you get. My fellow worker pointed out that he goes there almost each day for lunch and loves their Grilled Chicken soup. For $ 4.25 you get an enormous bowl of soup chock full of vegetables and large grilled chicken pieces , 2 breads and lots of taheenee and excellent, sweet mint tea. The place is in the basement level and it is easy to miss because apparently the landlord won't let the stores in the basement put up any visible signs. But all is all just a lovely place, lovely people and you have just got to try the food.

Really good food!
One of the best (if not the best) Lamb Kebabs ive had in the city. Im a regular falafel/middle eastern cuisine eater and have to admit this place serves a mean dish. I was really impressed and had to put in a review!

Good eats slow service
The food here is excellent and loved the kebabs and wraps. Service is a bit slow but it's since the majority is tended to the massive deliveries they make. If you’re willing to wait you'll be most rewarded with very tasty Falafel. Good Eats!

Traditional Moroccan Hospitality
The food is delicious, but the thing that makes this restaurant so special is the care that goes into every dish. I have eaten here since it openned, and can say that I have never had even a disappointing meal here in about 10 years. The salads are always crispy and fresh, the hummus is perfectly light and their stuffed grapeleaves are a revelation (I find most places have ones that are limp and taste like can). Their falafel is really good (crispy, hot and not greasy at all). And you have to have their mint tea - so good! Its also great value - huge portions of great food. Plus they have a 10% off coupon if you order through the internet. The owner has a great sense of taste and style, and has done a nice job on the restaurant, but its really set up for take-out, so I haven't given it the highest rating for atmosphere, but the friendliness of the servers and the pretty Moroccan lamps, tiles and furniture make it well worth dining in at. Plus, unlike many lower end places, they'll serve you on real plates with real cutlery, which makes it feel more expensive than it is.

Good Food!
Wow - the food here is great. Standouts include the kebabs (all of them), the falafel and the tortilla soup. Will definitely be ordering from here again. There were a couple things that annoyed me though. I asked for pickles on my sandwich, twice, and didn't get them. And, it took over an an hour for my food to be delivered. It's a good thing the food is so good.

Great Falafel
The falafel is great! Hard to find in this area. The restaurant is small, but the food is fantastic and so inexpensive!
