    A great place.

My husband and I had visited this place for first time, and it was great .the food is absolutely yummy I really love the combo meat <the way it served and combine <chicken ,lamb ,,,,,hummus falafel, babaghnnoush>if you don't like lamb the waitress are willing to substitute others items for you .which is nice to make you own combination .for dessert get a best Middle East desert <baklava >it is sooo good and fresh homemade dessert .I absolutely love this place and I recommend it to everybody without any doubt.

    Best Middle Eastern

I was on visit to NYC from Morocco and printed a list of all Halal restaurant in NYC and after reading all the reviews I couldn't resist but go and check Marrakesh out. It was great!. My friend from NYC tryed the couscous and I had a little test and I have to say that it was very good! The people are nice, the place is very quiet for dinner (I hear that lunches are a bit crowded). I really recommend this place. The Kebabs are the best I have ever had, I will be coming back again inshallah to try more dishes.

    Very disappointed

After reading all the reviews here, I was really looking forward to my kebab plate. When I got it, it looked nice, with plenty of fresh pita and a very generous portion of chicken and hommus. Before I even tasted it, I noticed that all the chicken was completely charred on one side. When I tasted the chicken, that's exactly what it tasted like- a piece of charcoal. So, I spent several minutes cutting each piece of chicken in half, separating the charred from the uncharred. The uncharred pieces were very tasty, unfortunately the other half of the chicken was inedible. The falafel was fair, at best. Not greasy though, which is nice, but not especially tasty. The hommus was completely tasteless and a little bit watery. I can't imagine how you can make hommus this tasteless. The only taste it had was from the mild sprinkling of paprika on top. The pita was fresh, and I got delivery so I don't know about the atmosphere. For $12, I would have expected better quality. I will not eat here again.

    Wow!

Was pleasantly surprised. Initially I was taken back by having to head into the basement to eat. The food was delicious and the service was impeccable. The atmosphere was very laid back. We lingered after dinner for about an hour and no one pushed us to leave. Will be eating here alot.

    Highly recommended low-key place

A friend and I went to Marrakesh for dinner and we both thought the food was great - and it's very reasonably priced. Everything was fresh and delicious. And the baklava, which the owner gave to us at no charge, was the best I've ever had. If you're looking for great, inexpensive Middle Eastern food in a low-key setting, I highly recommend this restaurant.

    Middle East Escape

I had their flyer and one day I decided to check them out and was pleasantly surprised (after getting a bit lost). It's located in a basement which is very easy to miss. Has a very nice atmosphere, beautiful light fixtures, wood panelling... seems authentic. I had the Kefta Kebab wrap to go, I ordered in 15 mins earlier and it was ready when I picked it up. Have to say, it's the best falafels I've had! (sorry Mamoun's!) Cost $7. and it was big. and delicious. The California wrap is good too.

Order if you are in no hurry

Despite the fact that this place is about half a block from me, they often take an hour to delivery a simple order. The food is good but the whole point of ordering food delivered is to save on time. So, I can't say I'll bother with these guys again. It's a shame because they are a good value. Order only if you are in nooo hurry.
