Some of the most mediocre Turkish cuisine. We went for dinner and was disappointed. Appetizer fried calamari very poorly seasoned. Kebab mains were OK just not worth the money even with the huge portions. The decor was the best thing.

We were thinking about some kind of exotic food. Tired of Chinese, Thai, Indian, Italian. Then though why not Turkish, very convinient, nice atmosphere near our apartment. Ok let's try Marmara, amazing, food, atmosphere, service. Detail, was my partner birthday then I let them know of course, what happened... They were so nice, so friend, so warm that of course offered that moment singing Happy birthday with a piece of delicious ice-cream cake to my partner. Thanks a bunch guys from Marmara, very kind of you. Unforgettable.

Absolutely not child friendly! I tried to enter with 2 of my children and the host eluded to the fact that children would not be comfortable there. We ignored the comment and stayed, a big mistake! The service was slow and the food was tasteless.

The old menu was delicious, and the vegetarian manti was my favorite delivery meal. Unfortunately, the new menu is less diverse, and the restaurant has removed many vegetarian options, including the manti. It's a shame to see a great restaurant remove wonderful entrees from their menu. I will not be ordering from here in the future but hope they will expand their menu options again in the future.

I have gone to this restaurant many times in the past, last maybe around late February 2011. I just recently went back in mid-April 2011 and was disappointed with the changes: menu has changed, portions are disappointing. Menu changes: bread seems a little different from previous, bread condiments are now more Italian than turkish, some of the appetizers no longer available. Kebabs - no longer served with rice instead comes with 3 small salads, 1 of which is impossible to eat (red onions basically). Not sure what prompted the change but it is prompting us not to go back. Quite disappointing.

We went with a large group, never felt rushed. food is delicious and very inexpensive. have great wine options.The desserts are incredible. everyone is lovely and it has a great ambiance inside. i love this place so much.Whenever i have guests i feel very comfortable to bring them to MarMara

I thought this was going to be delicious after reading the reviews. The red lentil soup was quite good, but the spinach dumplings had no taste and were lukewarm. Maybe that is what good Turkish home cooking is like? People who have visited there tell me differently.
