Love this place at Lunch or Dinner
I've come here for lunch. I've come here for dinner. I've found the service to be warm, friendly and informative. The food is consistently excellent. There are healthy options and the servers are helpful in making adjustments to suit your dietary needs. The mac'n'cheese is among the best I've ever had. The fish and seafood are especially terrific, but the steak is quite good too. Many dishes come with frites, which I don't eat at the moment, but they'll gladly make healthy substitutions. This is a place where I bring friends, especially one's who've never been before. To a one, they've all enjoyed it. I can't recommend Markt enough!

Not recommended
Server never advised of specials and never came to table. I ordered the belgium salad that had so much fat (they say it's bacon) I could not eat it.

Very disappointing
mussels were bland(sauce) ,didn't taste any garlic(supposed to be garlic cream sauce) topped with huge chunks of onion-turnoff-had to dig way down for 'bland' cream sauce and mussels...had to ask for a spoon.... overcharged on oysters.....chocolate mousse tasted like refrigerated for a week....wine not cold.....forget this!

No delivery to 16th Street?
'I'm sorry but we don't deliver that far'. I live on 16th street and 6th avenue. Literally 6 blocks down from the place!

Very good!
Hadn't been here for several months and was very pleased food was as good as always. Drinks were very good and reasonably priced. Service was excellent. Highly recommend.

Why the crowd?
Sent the food back twice, disappointing appetizers, shrimp was not fresh. Pasta was inedible. Live next door and will never return.
