Got there on a monday afternoon. Very busy. Did not have a reservation but me and my friend thought we would try for a table anyway. Hostess was very nice and told us it would be about 25 mins. We had the option of waiting inside or outside on one of the built in benches. We opted for outside where 15 mins the later the hostess came and got us. The waitress was wonderful as well. Very laid back and friendly. Ordered the steak sandwhich and the fried cod sandwhich. Both were amazing! The salad that came with the steak sandwich was light and delicious. The fries that accompanied my fish sandwhich were seasoned to perfection. As full as we were after we ate, we ordered dessert. The polka dot cheesecake was a piece of heaven. The scoop of toasted almond gelato was amazing as well. This is now one of my favorite restaurants.

I tried Market Table recently with a friend who was visiting from the west coast and we had a great time. The food was awesome (I had the braised lamb shank) and the service was perfect. I will definitely go back soon.

I came here for lunch with my husband and six month old son. The burgers were delicious and the staff was friendly. They were extremely accommodating with our stroller given the small space, and the manager even volunteered to go up the block where our car was parked to put quarters in the meter.

This place is amazing. Went there last night without reservations but they have walk-in tables and space at the bar. The hostess was so nice and helpful and we got a place at the bar. The atmosphere is great (very relaxed), the food is delicious, and the service was also very good. You definitely need to order the gnocchi with short ribs...soooo good! The crabcake was also very good as were the lamb shanks. Will definitely be frequenting this place in the future.

Went with three other friends last Friday for lunch, and it was perfect. A few of us had the white bean and escarole soup, tossing in large pieces of baguette into the bowl to soften in the broth. I eat a lot for lunch, but that soup alone kept me full and satisfied for the rest of the day. My friend said the eggplant parm was the best he had ever had, and the roasted chicken over fennel mashed potatoes got raves. It was perfectly lovely and I can't wait to go back.

Market Table was absolutely fantastic. Food was amazing, huge portions, waitress was beyond friendly and attentive, totally unpretentious (no uniforms, staff wears jeans, etc…) and the kicker, best value for quality meal I have had in NYC. Lamb shank is a must. Also, they let you bring one bottle of wine with you and have no corkage fee, which is unheard of in this city.

Mr. Stulman has done it again. The corner space on Carmine and Bedford offers what seems to be more space than the Little Owl which is just a block or two away....and the service is just as amazing. I sampled the scallops wrapped in bacon and they were delicious. The Cava sparkling wine was just right for a Thursday night. The market atmosphere juxtaposed to the restaurant is brilliant. The 2 hour wait for a table speaks for itself. I can't wait to go back!
