Cheese Fries are very Misleading
Was super excited for cheese fries. Fries came out with American slices of cheese microwaved with bits of bacon (also microwaved). And... The fries and ranch were terrible as well on their own. Needless to say, DO NOT EAT HERE unless you want a bagel with

Good Coffee, warm atmosphere
The Market Diner was really near our hotel. We ate breakfast/lunch there 3 days out of 5. All the servers were pro's, not new at their job, all friendly enough, never forgot anything. The food is good diner food. We had the Special breakfast item each

What a Find!
A friend and I were looking for a place to have dinner near far west 42nd Street and came upon Market Diner. It was great! Good food, good ambience, great service, affordable prices. I consider this a true find in the neighborhood.

The way diners ought to be
Perfect diner food. Minus the greasy-spoon ambience. Clean. Comfortable. Tasty. And I love that you can get a salad instead of the fries without paying extra.

Fun and good food
This diner has been around for years. I knew about it, but I live on the far east side so I don't get over to 11th Avenue too often. I suspect this diner was at one time as a workaday food option for the industrial environs around it. In other words, a
