Love this place
best pizza in the city. not for you if you are looking for a topping crazy pizza or like cute pizzas with pineapple and ham or something else equally useless

Best Pizza
Marriella's is right behind my apt. and i go there frequently to order pizza. They serve really hot crusty cheese pizzas in entire NYC. Their tomato sauce is better than home made ones.My best memory is walking down the street in a light drizzle on october and entering the place to order oven hot steaming pizzas which i ate back home.It was worth it!!!

My Fave
Although it can get crowded during lunch, Mariella has for the most part flown under the radar. I've been eating NYC pizza for 40 years, and Mariella is amongst the best. Good, traditional NYC pizza-by-the-slice has been getting harder and harder to find for years. Mariella is the real deal. It's all in the cheese. I'd walk a mile for Mariella. And I have.

Great but expensive
This is without a doubt the best pizza in the area if not the city however reach deep into your pockets its going to cost you.

Why do I order from Mariella's? Well, because it's close to my apartment and they deliver quickly. Unfortunately, they disappoint time and time again. Last night I asked for a diet coke with my order, I got a regular coke. At 8pm, the pizza consistently tastes like it's been sitting there all day. I get a house salad that has no dressing on it and none on the side either. I'm writing this review almost as a reminder to myself never to order from here again because it leaves me unsatisfied every single time.

Excellent Place for Italian
I love this place. Food is fantastic! Best place to get Spaghetti w/ Garlic and Oil! Pizza is also great too. Friendly staff too. Decor is sub par. It's primarily a take out place, not to really sit in and eat.

One of the best!
I can't claim to have eaten at every pizzaria in the city, but this one is one the best I've had. The cheese is very tasty.
