Good choice for pizza sold by the slice!
I really like the pizza here. It's great for pizza sold by the slice. Sure, it's not a gourmet pricy pizza restaurant made with fresh mozzarella and cooked in a coal oven, but it's delicious for two slices of New York style pizza. This place is always packed. They have delicious pizza and were even featured on Oprah. I come here at least once a week.

OK...nothing special
Though the delivery was prompt, was not impressed with the pizza. For starters they only have one size versus most places that have s,m, and l. Second and more importantly, the quailty was not that great and quite frankly have had better at Domino's. This is not NY pizza at all.

Very Good Pizza - Great Service
Our last night in NYC and we decided to eat in and have pizza. We ordered carryout from the restaurant. Price was great, pizza tasted good, and the staff was more than very friendly! When I am back in the city, I will visit again. Very New York!

Pizza sans punch
we ordered a pizza at 10:30 pm on a sunday, and they still took our order and delivered it to us within 30 minutes, which was also their closing time (11pm). Although we ordered fresh tomatoes and olives as toppings (which are less flavorful options), the pizza lacked the punch we expected. the dough and sauce didn't offer much support, so i'd choose toppings with a little more zing.

Love the vibe and the food!
The pizza is great and the vibe is what it is. Very NY! Friendly while brusque. Will definitely return time and time again for quality pizza.

I love Mariella's
Great pizza but even better service. Small hole in the wall place but they got their pizza right all the time. Decent prices for midtown, makes food affordable again.
