    feels like home

The staff is super friendly, you feel at home. It's small and not so enticing when you first walk in but once your in, your in. The quality of service makes you forget about appearance, then the food!!! Oh My GOD!! It's like my mama cooked the food. Great spanish food..

    Good eats

Small but lively spot that offers a good meal at a reasonable price. The diverse clientel egives it the feel you are at home and the entire family has been invited over for dinner.

A slice of the Dominican Republic

I absolutely love the food here. I've been coming here for a while and have never had a bad meal here. It's not a fancy place but the atmosphere is wonderful because you feel like you're at a relative's house for dinner. What more can you ask for? Service is wonderful and everyone who works there is very friendly. As for as value, it can't be beat. They give you so much food that you possibly can't finish it all. What are you waiting for? Go, you won't be disappointed

    Great!

The food here is absolutely great. People come from all boroughs to order food from here. I can't think of a thing that they don't cook with absolute goodness. Wow, I think I should order right now!...The only downside is the atmosphere at Margot's. It is a hole in the wall that, believe it or not, gets packed. The decor is not to die for. That is what they should work on. With all the business Margot's gets, they should really expand.

Great food but only good for take out or

The food is great here. I'm surprised people haven't put more posts on here. It is really a hole in the wall type of place. They have been around since the early 90's. The restaurant is really well known in that area of Manhattan but outside of the area people don't know about it. It is really small and not exactly a nice place to sit down and eat. The place always seems to be packed and they are always fairly busy so I am surprised they never got a bigger place. Authentic Dominican food that genuinely tastes homemade unlike some other restaurants. Great take out place or if your around the neighborhood and want to stop in for something quick.

Best Dominican Spot in the City

I hate saying things like "Best this" or "Best that" but I'm not lying when it comes to this little spot. I'm surprised this is the first review - on second thought, no I'm not because this is also the Best Kept Secret in Washington Heights. Oxtail...amazing. Even the white rice. Excellent, excellent grub. The decor leaves much to be desired but I usually take my food to go. If you like Spanish food, you'll love this place.
