Cuban sandwich is great, but nothing compares to their roast pork special offered every wednesday. A healthy helping of pork with rice, beans and plantains is the perfect hump day feast. Work in the area and must give the pork credit for my perfect wednesday attendance. Service with a smile and a great meal all for under 10 bucks, beat that in midtown.

Visited New York recently and found this place on our second day. Just missed breakfast, so we had a Cuban sandwich. Was delicious enough to entice us to come back again. I believe in a week, we visited 4 times for different meals. Love it, the food, the people, the value! My daughter and I will surely go back!

The American Heart Association won't be giving this place a gold star anytime soon but if you don't fear for your arterial healthgive the Cuban sandwich at Margon a try! Inside is ugly so I would take it to go but there are plenty of outdoor seating areas in the surrounding blocksgreat for midtown people watching. Counter guy was really friendly and you can't beat the price.

I have tried pretty much every Cuban place in Manhattan. Hands down Margon makes the best Cubano (albeit that they use Genoa salami and mayo). On the other hand, Margon may also be the ugliest restaurant in the city. I encourage you to consider take-out.

I just ate there today and was very pleased with their Cuban Sandwich! The size was great... Having to go back to work, I wouldnt want to eat something too heavy. 2 Cubans and 2 Sodas for leass than $20! Thats pretty good... Definitely more of a take out place though. It was really hot in there and plus its not a good looking place anyway.

My best friend and I have been eating at this restaurant since it first opened. We now work in different areas. I am now working at the opposite end of NYC--Ground Zero and I miss eatting there very very much. I will tell you that you will be hard pressed to find better tasting Cuban food. The restaurant itself may be small, but the service is always with a smile, the workers are so friendly, and the food--EXCELLENT.

After reading reviews from various sources about this restaurant I decided to head over there since I work in Times Sq. What a great lunch decision. I never had a cuban sandwich before and lets just say I am now hooked. It is a bit greasy so once in a while is fine but overall, the counter guy was nice and service was quick for take out. It is a small place but has a nice atmosphere. Most importantly food is sooo good! Next time I am going for a plate. Yummm OOOH!
