This place is beyond amazing! The best possible latin american place in the city. I had a craving for latin food and needed something straight to the point. No fancy names straight to the root. Quick delivery. Amazing customer service and great prices.

Don't be fooled worth every penny. The staff is great food is excellent. Spanish food just like mom makes it.

To Margon Restaurant: I don't care if you change the location, the prices, the container sizes, the serving portions, do as you must...just don't change the recipes! Delicious Cuban food!! Thank you!

Based on great reviews read and overheard about Margon, decided to stop by and get some lunch last Friday. Based on the menu, I asked for the roast pork sandwich. I was steered toward another type of pork or meat and when I repeatedly insisted on my choice was told that roasted pork was only on Wednesdays. Decided to try the cooked pork with rice which was told by waitress was excellent. It turned out to be dry, with no flavor and a pork that was mediocre at best. The piece of bread with a "blob" of butter was stale. The tables dirty, not a nice place nor good food available unless you are really starving and do not care how it tastes. A total fiasco to not repeat.

My manager and I make it a habit to order lunch once a week from Margon. The portions are great for sharing (awesome for two hungry people). I definitely cannot eat it all by myself. Sometimes I even share it with 2 other people if we're not that hungry. Once in awhile they will screw up our order. But I think this tends to happen more often during the lunch hour. I try to order before or after peak hours but this still does not deter me! I've never been to the actual restaurant so I can't vouch for the atmosphere or decor. The food just hits the spot as a guilty pleasure and I can't say enough.

Don't be fooled by the appearance of this place.. the food is great, very authentic and the workers are very nice. The service is slow during lunch time, and lines for cubans can be out the door, further proving their popularity. Highly recommended for a quick eat. Also, beers are 2 for $5. :)

Tried this place a few times to see if maybe they just had a *bad day*, but it just gets more disappointing. The staff is rude, pernil was dried out and sparse. Chicken was greasy...portions shrunk and prices did not. Never again. Three visits was more than they deserved from me.
