Cooking in oil from this century would be nice
Ordered the fish & chips. Smelled like they haven't change the cooking oil ever. fish also frozen. fries soggy

Great service, food and drinks...
I have been going to Murphy's for years now. It has become my local. The beer is always good. The staff is awesome. Food is worth the buck. The Cajun chicken sandwich is awesome. I'm not much into hard liquor, so I can't comment on non beer drinks, but the bar has a great atmosphere that will make any after work excursion successful. The jukebox has a nice selection as well. I've never thought, "What the hell is that playing?". Check it out.

Good Pub
Its unusual to be able to get burritos & good pint of Guinness at the same place, but they do it well here! the service was friendly & there was a nice 'buzz'

Great food, good price
I have been here about 6 times and the chicken sandwiches are always huge and tasty and the beers are always ice cold. Good value in Murry Hill!

Friendly Place
A very fun friendly place. Lots of upside to going here for a good time. Big downside is the food - definitely below average.

Refreshing change for the area
I've been here a few times and it's a great place to relax, hang out, or watch a game. There are plenty of flat screens for sports fans and the menu includes a nice mix of relatively healthy choices and standard bar food. The food itself is great and has come a long way since they opened (as well as the frozen drinks). The bar tenders and staff have always been friendly and attentive. It's a welcome change in atmosphere for this area.

Poor Margaritas
A friend and I met here about 2 weeks ago for drinks and dinner. The drinks were so poor we didn't stay for dinner. We ordered margaritas. We took one sip. We complained to the waitress who declined to sample the drinks or do anything about it. So we left. There was a huge after-work crowd, so something must be good. If you go, stick to bottled drinks.
