Went for dinner on a Tuesday night and was seated right away. Waiter was very attentive and we made it in time for the happy hour drink specials. I had enchiladas which were good, bit the rice on the side was a bit cold. Sopapillas for dessert were great!

So I have been ordering from them for years. I live 3 blocks from the restaurant. I call in today to order my usual and they tell me they don't deliver "that far". I asked to speak with the manager and he did not know where Greenwich Street was, only Greenwich Ave. I said, you have a delivery serviced, pull out a map and look, it's 3 blocks and I always order from you guys! He said he couldn't help me, he's not from the city, doesn't have a map in the restaurant, and would not take my order. Unbelievable whoever this guy is. I WILL NEVER ORDER FROM THEM AGAIN

We come to Maracas every month and I must say the Faita Trio is the best fajitas in NYC. A great place for groups, expecially on Monday nights for $3 Margaritas! We will be back!

My wife and I ate here last night. We sat outside. Free nachos chips and salsa were very tasty; salsa had a little kick which was good. I had the shrimp and crab enchiladas, which were excellent. A nice amount of seafood. My wife had the grilled chicken quesadillas, which were good. Service staff was excellent. Price was very reasonable. I'd recommend this place and will go back again.

The food here was really vile. I expected standard cheesy tex mex, but this was barely edible. Greasy and completly bland. It was nice sitting outside and if you want just a margarita and some guacomole then ok maybe this is ok, but don't order any food. Even the chips and salsa were only fair.

if you stick with the basic mexican food on the menu, you can't go wrong. But if you order something with a chicken breast or piece of steak, you'll end up with a fatty gross thing that is only half edible. Bartenders know how to make a great margarita!

So, the crowd and atmosphere is always loud ... a little too loud. But the food is amazing. I prefer to order delivery - and the sopapillas are out of this world. Quick service in the West Village for a decent price.
