Yummy brunch!!
Best brunch ever! They have this special called the mimosa brunch, where you can get two mimosas at the price of one...since finding that out, my girlfriends and I come here every Saturday! The menu is huge, so that there is always something new to try! Highly recommended!

What a great finding!
Food was amazing (I'd suggest you the black and white linguni with shrimp or the steak with fries) and the service really friendly and attentive! Really good for a romantic dinner or for a girls night out...I'll definetely go back!

Bad Service, Worse Food
The food took forever- it took 30 minutes to get our appetizers of meatballs, which was very dry and not tasty. It took another 30 minutes to get our entrees. One of us ordered penne with chicken, but the dish arrived with not even one piece of chicken. And the dish was bad. This was a Monday night by the way, and although the restaurant was full, it shouldn't take more than an hour to get food out of the kitchen. The only good thing about this place was the affordable wine menu. This place is definitely not worth your time or money.

this place is the real thing
i chose this restaurant because i had a coupon but it's going to become a regular spot for us because it is so good. we started with a shrimp and cannelloni bean salad that was fantastic, and a grilled calamari salad, that was also excellent. i had the spaghetti and meatballs -- the sauce was great, the meatballs were teeny but maybe that's the real italian style. my friends were all happy with their dishes (penne with artichoke and something, steak, and linguini with tiny clams). portions were the right size, not too small and not like going to carmine's either. everything was tasty and service was friendly though slow. i think they're a little understaffed for the weekend crowd but i imagine the restaurant would be even better on a tuesday. this is a hidden gem.

Just what I've been looking for
I stopped into Mappamondo with a friend last week after moving into the neighborhood and I loved it. This place reminds me of my grandma's cooking. I can't get enough!

Great italian!
Great food, reasonably priced, awesome and adorable interior and the nicest hostess! Definitely recommend!
