Brisk service, very good food
Mapo Tofu is in the business of making sure you get your food and get out of there. But it is always packed. The food is delicious, fresh, and attractively plated. If you know your order immediately, it will save you being briskly asked every 10 seconds for it. And don't bother asking about the schezuan pickled vegetables--the menu claims they come with your lunch, but it's lying.

Awesome food
Food is awesome, and price is also reasonable.. i go to this place atleast once in a week, sometimes twice..

Authentic Chinese
Unbelievable, extremely reasonable food. Really fast service, though the place was not crowded. Atmosphere a little sterile, but fine really, and this isn't nearly as important to me as the quality and value. Go.

Fantastic
Had the cold sesame noodles and mapo tofu and the food was excellent. Great depth of flavor. While there's no real ambience, the food is outstanding, and service was lickety split--I was in and out in 25 minutes.

Best Szechuan food in Manhattan
The beautiful appetizer made with seafood amazed us and was very very delicious. We couldn't wait for the dishes any more and they only made the dinner even more beautiful. The hot pot fish was soft and tasty - I never had such good spicy foods. Best Szechuan food in town, definitely should go there again.
