OK, fine so the fries have changed. Try the baked apple, it is much better for you anyhow! The greek salad is delicious and my personal favorite which can double as a dessert is the acorn squash. Yum! Change in this case is very good. The new owners are bringing the Mansion back to life by improving the quality of the food and the choices. For many it is a home away from home and much appreciated for its variety, quality and the friendly, welcoming atmosphere. IT's not unusual to see people stop in spontaneously to join friends/neighbors for a quick bite or dessert. I usually eat there in the evenings, and I can eat leisurely, and never feel rushed. The owners definitely value their customers. One last thing: for people with food restrictions/intolerances, they are accomodating. Don't let that stop you from stopping in.

I have been ordering from and going to the mansion for over ten years. The new manager has made some major changes, such as raising the prices, and changing the fries. They taste different and probably are cheaper. I am really not impressed with what is happening to a once local favorite...It is a shame...

The Mansion is a terrific diner their delicious steak fries that come with a burger were recently switched to some sort of battered fries that taste like they're from a fast food joint. What a disappointment!

Mansion Diner had been the only consistantly great diner I had ever eaten at and now it is the only place I go. I eat there at least 5 times a week, and that is the absolute minimum. Whether breakfast, lunch or dinner, Mansion has a varried selection of dishes garrunteed to please. Their extra thick milkshakes with extra malt are the best you'll find, but NOTHING will EVER beat their motzah ball soup with chicken. I have had pleanty of motzah ball soups but none have even come close - I LOVE MANSION DINER!

Ditto on the neighborhood feel, and franks and beans. Good staff.

Classic diner food that's pretty darn good. Big space too but on the weekends getting a table is a little difficult. The Mansion brings good food and memories. I recommend to all diner lovers!

I order the greek salad non stop here. It is a total winner. Hold the anchovies please. If you are a fairly light eater it will last two days.
