1st time
1st time last night and found Manolo to be a gem. Manolo offers true Spanish tapas. What a treat in a neighborhood that doesn't offer much diversity. Wonderful music. Service was excellent! Reasonably priced. Fresh food! Will return soon. Many choices on the menu to try including specials!

I Give this place a 5/5
I love this place, the atmosphere is beautiful and cozy! They have a large selection of wines, and great authentic Spanish tapas to enjoy. My favorite spot is at the corner seat of the bar or the tables near the windows. Its a great place to o with family or with a couple of friends. Manolo is a place that I will recommend to anyone. They also have great signature cocktails and seasonal draft beer! If you like HAPPY HOUR! this is the place to go... The deals are great!... It's also a nice change to have something different to go in Washington Heights!

Great food, friendly staff, pleasant atmosphere.
My second visit, two days in a row. The first was good; the second, outstanding. The first time: I had seafood soup and a cod entree. I loved the soup but the fish was just alright. My friend had the seared tuna salad, which he enjoyed. Tonight I returned solo, primarily for the special dessert, but had the seafood soup again and a seafood crepe. It was very difficulty to narrow my selections from the lengthy tapas menu. Both were lovely. For dessert, I had a tres leche cake, which my waiter flambed with Grand Marnier. It was served with a mini scoop of vanilla ice cream on the side. Decadent! On both occasions, the staff were friendly and attentive. Other custumers seemed laidback as if they were all regulars (could it be?) and the vibe was just very comfortable. Twice I had a white wine from Albarino. Not the best I've had from that region, but it was a refreshing change to have several fine options on the wine list. I will be back!

Rare and wonderful spot in Washington Heights. . .
Thank god for Manolo. Finally, finally, there is a restaurant in the neighborhood with a wine list worth looking at and drinking from. I have been to Manolo 6 or 7 times, with friends, on dates, for a party, and have even brought my parents here for dinner. The service and food is consistent, and consistently excellent. You can't go wrong with anything on the tapas menu, although the seafood tapas are my personal favorites. The best part of Manolo is that it is not only a nice place to sit at a table and have dinner, but it also has a great bar with a friendly, welcoming, and knowledgeable bartender. All told, Manolo is excellent across the board, and a real rarity in the neighborhood.

Great addition to the neighborhood
I've been to Manolo several times since it's opening and I have found it to be a charming addition to the neighborhood. I've been to the bar area for small bites with my husband and also with a party of six. Each time we've received great service. They have an impressive wine & beer selection. The food is very authentic. I just with the prices were a little more Spanish! :) In all seriousness, it's a little too expensive for us to go as frequently as we'd like. Also, I think it's ridiculous that they are cash only. It's a large restaurant with a bar area and downstairs seating - they are big enough that they should take credit cards. At least we spend less money when we pay cash!

Good food Great show
We loved the live Flamenco! A perfect evening. Shows are on Wednesdays, absolute value for the $! Atmosphere and architecture, pleasant service, good food , great salads, desserts outstanding, coffee comes with the best little cookie....but the music and dance of Flamenco Romeria takes the cake.

The best restaurant in the Heights
Delicious tapas and paellas from Spain. Excellent place to celebrate your birthday party. Me and my boyfriend went on wednesday and they have live flamenco, it was beautiful!!! Their octupus tastes exactly like they one is served in Spain... actually all the dishes we ordered were very authentic... and that's hard to find in a multicultural city like NYC. we got there at 7:30 only to find out that "happy hour" was over, it made me wanna go back.
