    Love the food!

I always pass by Manna's and finally decided to give the restaurant a try this summer. If I would have know I would have gone everytime I went into Harlem. The food is delicious. It doesn't taste like other bland buffets. It's well seasoned, like you are at a Soul Food Restaurant.

    my favorite for soul food

Very good soul food, excellent selection (in addition to southern favorites, they also have carribean and spanish food, like jerk chicken and fried plantains), excellent value. my favorite.

    Very high value/quality

This is my favorite buffet in Manhattan. I think they have 4 locations. For example, there's also one on 135th, half a block south of the 2/3 stop. For me they're an outstanding value given the quality of the ingredients and the flavors & healthiness of the salad bar foods. They are basically half soul food bar, half raw/salad bar, plus a case of baked goods. I see more people going for the soul foods, but I go for the outstanding salad bar. Anytime I'm close (even at Columbia), I want to head over to Manna's.

For $4.95 per lb. Why go any place else?

I have ventured to Manna's twice this week from Queens! Try the Yams and the smothered pork chops! If you don't like pork, the fried chicked is extra crispy, the way I like it! Very nice folks working there! Always good for a laugh! Good music and nice family atmosphere! Try the one on B'way in Brooklyn also! Gooood Eatin'!
