    Poor customer service and food

What a poor customer service experience - and not that good food to boot! I order seamless for lunch every day. Today I was going to be on a conference call through lunch and decided to order mangia. What a mistake. I ordered at 11 and when by 12:30 I still hadn't received my lunch, I called and was told my lunch left at 12:20. Still ridiculous being as I ordered at 11, but at least food was "on the way." By 1 I still had not received my lunch and had my admin call and check on it. She was told that it was sent to the wrong place and would be sent back again. By 1:30 I finally was off my call and my lunch still wasn't here. I called Mangia and the catering manager was incredibly rude! She told me that my office staff had signed for it and hadn't given it to me (they do this every day and there are all of 10 or so lunches a day - so this is not possible), and barely even agreed to give me my lunch for free after I waited nearly 3 hours for my delivery and had to call back multiple times! What an attitude! When I finally got my lunch at 2PM, the salad was not even very good. It wasn't even worth calling once, let alone calling a ton of times and waiting 3 hours. Neither I, nor anyone from my office will be ordering from here ever again.

Only fresh fast lunch in midtown

This is the only place that you can still get freshly prepared food in midtown fast to go. I suggest trying the a la minute station you can get everything from seared tuna to filet. Best food in town!!

    Disappointing service and food

I ordered a chicken parm sandwich with a coworker for delivery. when the order arrived after an hour there was no sandwich in the bag. I called, they promised to rush my sandwich over. After another hour with no sandwich i called AGAIN and they promised to rush the sandwich over. 30 minutes later the sandwich arrived. 2.5 hours after it was originally ordered. The sauce was plain. The sandwich was served on a large roll which was not cut (so it was difficult to eat). All in all it was a very poor experience. i wish i had just given up and gotten something else when it didnt arrive the first time.

    What a nightmare

Ordered 2 tuna on rye, 2 turkey on rye and a tossed salad. All for the grand total of $86.00 and they got the order wrong! No salad was in the delivery bag. A true waste of time and money! Such a sad place!

    Pricey, but worth it

My boss always has me order from here because he loves the food for client meetings. I'd agree, the food is really good, but they are so popular it can take forever to get the food sometimes. I found that when I order on SeamlessWeb it comes a little faster. Overall, I'd say it's worth it, espeically if your boss tells you so!

    ordered from work

i ordered twice because its near work and theyre open late. if youre taking out- PLEASE order online- you save 10%. first time- had the pasta. it was a bit pricey. portion was too small, which is completely unacceptable with pasta dishes. i mean c'mon its a few cents of pasta to fill a dish twice the size. second time- got the special tuscan meatloaf. very tasty, better size portion. COLD. and i work across the street from mangia. 4 of 10 overall.

    Great food and variety

A busy lunch-time self/serve or order at the counter restaurant. They have a large variety of menu items from fresh salads to hot and cold sandwiches. Just a few tables to sit at.
