Mediocre food with a side of attitude.

Seriously, WTF is up with the staff and their rudeness? The food is not that great and the women behind the counter (especially) the ones in front of the pizza oven are just nasty. I ordered a pizza and asked for no meat. When I opened my pizza back at the office it was as if I had asked for extra meat. And it was not even the meat that was supposed to be on the pizza. Like they were playing a joke. And the food is not that great. Eat at the corner hot dog stand. At least he will appreciate your business.

    staff playing jokes???

I normally like Mangia for their sandwiches. Occassionaly, I get a hot chicken or pasta dish. I have to say that I'm very disappointed with the food I received last night. I ordered the Vegetarian Tomato Soup, and I received what appeared to be spaghetti sauce in a cup. It was disgusting. I don't know if the staff over there are playing jokes, but that one cost them a regular customer.

    delicious antipasto bar!

we do lunches from the antipasto bar when we have client meetings at the photo studio i work for. for a large group the price isn't so bad. granted, if work wasn't paying for it, i'd probably get cheaper food elsewhere... but that's because i'm pretty cheap. the farfalle funghi from the hot pasta menu is delicious - and a VERY generous portion. we split it amongst 4-6 people with a few different selections from the antipasto bar and are stuffed by the end! i recommend this place for group lunchesso you can taste a little of everything!

    Confused

I have passed by Mangia numerous times, and decided to stop in today to pick up lunch to go. The selection is terrific, however, the size of the sandwiches is ridiculous. For $5, I got a "panini" that was 4 bites big. For the amount they are charging, they could provide a bigger portion. I was tempted to just tell them that they were kidding, and walk out, but paid for it anyway. I then stopped at another place to get myself something that would fill me up. I won't go back again.

    Deee---lish

I was very impressed with the food I got yesterday at Mangia. I had a chicken parm sandwich and a mixed variety from the salad bar. All of the vegetables were very fresh and the sandwich was perfect. The chicken very tender, it was not greasy and did not have too much sauce(I hate that) So I was happy. It was very very busy when I went but that's what you get when you go at 1pm. Would recommend to my co-workers for a lunch option.

    Tried and True!

I've orded from Mangia for many years. I only order lunch and delivery. They have very fresh and unique sandwiches. They take a little longer on delivery but I'm just outside of their limit but they still deliver to me. They are definitely worth adding to your regular list of food stops - they are consistently good, friendly, and yummy. recommended.

    Excellent food, service and value!

What a true gem!! This is the first restaurant ever that I have rated with all 5.0! The dinner paired with the wine selection is superb, and what friendly service!! Everything on the menu, from the starters (the fried calamari with marinara sauce is to die for!) to the entrees is excellent excellent. I asked the cook to give me a large cup of the marinara sauce to eat at home! There is not one item on the menu that I don't like! And the waitstaff is sooo nice! Even the after dinner chocolates are top notch. As long as I have lived in Manhattan, I have never eaten a 4 course meal with a bottle of wine for less than $80, but that is exactly what I spent at Mangia!
