Amazing!
All these reviews are about sandwiches and that is the least of what they do. I almost always go to the "salad bar" although there is little salad and many other original and delicious and healthy choices. The soups are divine. The prices are not cheap but what do you expect for high quality, fresh ingredients made daily. I had worked in the neighborhood for 15 years and have been going there since when it was a tiny shop and the line went down the block. There is no longer one near me but I go well out of my way to eat there whenever I can manage it.

really?
I paid $5 for a small soup that was half-empty upon delivery and a roasted pepper in my sandwich still had a sticker on it from the grocery store.

Mediocre food with a side of attitude.
Seriously, WTF is up with the staff and their rudeness? The food is not that great and the women behind the counter (especially) the ones in front of the pizza oven are just nasty. I ordered a pizza and asked for no meat. When I opened my pizza back at the office it was as if I had asked for extra meat. And it was not even the meat that was supposed to be on the pizza. Like they were playing a joke. And the food is not that great. Eat at the corner hot dog stand. At least he will appreciate your business.

staff playing jokes???
I normally like Mangia for their sandwiches. Occassionaly, I get a hot chicken or pasta dish. I have to say that I'm very disappointed with the food I received last night. I ordered the Vegetarian Tomato Soup, and I received what appeared to be spaghetti sauce in a cup. It was disgusting. I don't know if the staff over there are playing jokes, but that one cost them a regular customer.

delicious antipasto bar!
we do lunches from the antipasto bar when we have client meetings at the photo studio i work for. for a large group the price isn't so bad. granted, if work wasn't paying for it, i'd probably get cheaper food elsewhere... but that's because i'm pretty cheap. the farfalle funghi from the hot pasta menu is delicious - and a VERY generous portion. we split it amongst 4-6 people with a few different selections from the antipasto bar and are stuffed by the end! i recommend this place for group lunchesso you can taste a little of everything!

Confused
I have passed by Mangia numerous times, and decided to stop in today to pick up lunch to go. The selection is terrific, however, the size of the sandwiches is ridiculous. For $5, I got a "panini" that was 4 bites big. For the amount they are charging, they could provide a bigger portion. I was tempted to just tell them that they were kidding, and walk out, but paid for it anyway. I then stopped at another place to get myself something that would fill me up. I won't go back again.

Deee---lish
I was very impressed with the food I got yesterday at Mangia. I had a chicken parm sandwich and a mixed variety from the salad bar. All of the vegetables were very fresh and the sandwich was perfect. The chicken very tender, it was not greasy and did not have too much sauce(I hate that) So I was happy. It was very very busy when I went but that's what you get when you go at 1pm. Would recommend to my co-workers for a lunch option.
