I work in the area and crave south asian food from time to time, especially my Panang Curry chicken and Thai Iced tea. The food was not only inedible but it costs 40% more than it should. Anyone who continues to eat here obviously has no idea what real Thai cuisine should taste like.

I've eaten here before and to sit down and eat this place is too small and gets crowded fast and I don't like the fact that they keep raising the prices on their lunch menu and their regular entrees start at $10 and don't include rice on the side you have to order it separately which in my opinion is ridiculous considering the entree costs enough. I was under the impression the meal was $7.95 as I printed the menu from this web pg only to be charged 9+ b/c it was 8.50. The meal had way too much rice a scattering of salad and not enough teriyaki sauce and the size of the meat wasn't very big while the food tasted good to me that's not a value for the price charge this place simply isn't in my budget so I would deem this place a "pay day" lunch joint or a special occasion place. I consider a lot of places in the tribeca/ financial district to be an overpriced rip off guess they have to pay their rent somehow.

I noticed the reviews of the pad thai at Mangez Avec Moi were all over the map - "It's the best I've ever had!" "It's the worst I've ever had!" etc... I would like to point out an important point. Mangez avec Moi is a Vietnamese restaurant NOT a Thai restaurant. Mangez's pad thai is actually not pad thai at all - they really should call it something else - it is a Vietnamese noodle dish in a peanut sauce, but a totally different recipe than the sweet/tangy dish served in Thai restaurants. That said, I think it is excellent. The sauce reminds me of a Vietnamese sate dipping sauce (with a hint of coconut, if my taste buds serve me correctly) sauteed with fresh rice noodles. A thoroughly satisfying dish. So appreciate it for what it is, people, and stop comparing it to Thai food. Mangez's summer rolls are also very fresh with an excellent plum dipping sauce, and their outpost next door "Mangez Avec Moi Express" offers excellent Vietnamese baguette sandwiches, bubble teas and imported Southeast Asian snacks, very tasty and reasonably priced for Tribecca. Enough harsh reviews - I think this place is a neighborhood gem. And I've always found their delivery service to be accurate and prompt.

I've tried vietnamese before and I love how flavorful their food is but the place I once went to closed down so I wanted to try this place out went here for lunch with a co-worker and I had the teriyaki chicken from the lunch special it was pretty good, the service was fine the only thing I wish they had put my favorite dish lemongrass chicken on the lunch special

Living in Tribeca, there arent too many good Asian restaurant options. I've eaten here 3-4 times. The Pad Thai is pretty bad. Tastes old and rubbery. The Sesame Chicken dish is good, but I've tried other thai dishes on the menu and they all just fell short. Sad, I really wanted to like this place.

$6.50 for a traditional vietnemese sandwich on fantastic bread with legit pork products. Wait takes about 5-10 minutes.
