This place is simply one of my most favorite places to eat in the world. The meatball hero is huge and delicious. I love the rice balls too. Pastas are above average. Staff is always friendly. Best place to grab some cheap italian food before MSG or Javits Center events.

People come to New York to experience each neighborhoods character. Places like Manganaro's, not McDonald's etc. This is one of the oldest deli's of it's kind in New York. Manganaro's has a very masculine old school, New York Italian feel to it. If you want old New York this is it. It's an escape from Chipotle, McDonald's, Wendy's and every other chain taking over Manhattan. This is the real deal! Prices are higher but not that much more than the chains. You get a huge amount of good homemade non processed food.

Not the best pasta joint in the world, but for the 30's west side its worth a shot. Little pricey now a days but go there on friday and get the Calimari, its what keeps me goin back. They only have it on Fridays due to the demand and little supply.

The food and service are both still very good, but the prices have gone way up over the last few months. Keep in mind that you get less food for a take-out order than to eat in (for the same price).

Had the highly tauted chicken parm hero and it wasn't all that. not enough sauce and it just tasted dry. I've had much better ones around the city that were much tastier than this.
