Disappointment...
We've been to this bar multiple times and have always had a good time - the food is great. Unfortunately, last night was a deal breaker for us. We went to go watch the yankees playoff game and after enduring the loud, drunk bartender's antics through the first half of our meal, we were horrified when she turned off the (one HD) tv in the bar showing the game to turn on napoleon dynamite on comedy central. After asking the bartender to turn the game back on -- she threw a huge attitude. She finally turned the game back on for us but left comedy central/napolean dynamite on loudly in the background. pretty much the entire bar left as did we. we will be taking our business elswhere from now on. advice to the owner -- you need a better staff - your bartender on sunday evening lost you a lot of business. good luck.

brilliant
without a doubt the nicest staff i ever meet. Food is good value, great atmosphere with live music everyone sings along. Try the Philly Cheese Steak and Jamican fingers they are fantastic.

great food, great value, service lacked
A group of my girlfriends and I went here for lunch. The food portions were extremely generous and the prices were so affordable. The service was okay but left some to be desired. The waitstaff was really nice but they were understaffed with only one waitress. I received my side dish when I was done with my meal and all of our glasses were empty the whole meal. One of us had to actually go to the bar to get refills. I would go back because the food, atmosphere and prices and hope for better service.

Ask Stacey for a Pint
The best part about Manchester Pub is the staff... if you can, ask for Stacey. No, forget that - you won't have to ask for her!

United at Manchester Pub
Dropped by with hopes of getting some quality burgers and brews along with good tunes (a rock jukebox is a necessity for me) and Manchester Pub had it all. Our waitress was a sweet Irish lass and looked after us well into our 5th round of drinks. We had such a good time here that after we left to indulge in a nearby 2 hour karaoke session we came back for more drinks, high-fiving the waitresses and bartender and singing along to the Clash. A wonderful, cozy pub with solid bar chow at diner prices - highly recommended.

Awesome bar
This was the only bar I was in more than once in my time in NYC. I'm from Scotland so it was great to get some whiskys and european lager on tap. The staff are excellent and work so hard. The food was just brilliant and cheaper than anywhere else I tried. Heartily reccommended.

Cozy atmosphere, delicious food
This place is so cozy and friendly. The Louisiana chicken salad is the best thing on the menu (delicious), but the other things are good too (the goat cheese salad is worth having, as are the Jamaican chicken fingers). This place is worth checking out.
