I had purchased the $35 Living Social deal for a "Tequila tasting and four appetizers." It was a total joke - in fact the experience was so disappointing that all my friends and I could do was sit there and laugh. The tequila tasting consisted of the equivalent of at most two shots (I am being generous) total and the 4 appetizers were so small that we had to order an entire dinner off of the menu. For the appetizers we chose nachos, fried calamari, avocado and the tostada. The nachos consisted of a SINGLE nacho (for two people, not even two nachos), the calamari was 4 single rings of calamari, the tostada was literally one bite and the avocado was a single thin slice. The total value was generously $15. It was clearly just a scam to get people to order significantly more off of the menu. If you've bought this deal do yourself a favor and get your money back or actually have a real dinner at a good restaurant before you use it!! Beyond the disappointing "deal" experience, the food was mediocre, overpriced, and they served tiny portions. On top of that, the service was slow even though we were literally the only people in the entire restaurant at 9 pm on a Friday night. I would sum it up as an utter embarrassment.

I found this place by accident when waiting for a table next door at another restaurant and was pleasently surprised. The place is very cute with really good mexican food. Yes the apps and main courses did come very close together like someone else wrote but overall the food was really good and the service fine.

While the place is cute the service is quite shoddy. It was difficult to get more salsa and when it finally showed up, we learned (at check time) they charge for it which would not be bad if they advised you or served you more than a few tablespoons. It took forever to get a glass of water with the margaritas which came incorrectly (with salt) and then took a very long time to replace. And the place was not crowded at all. Not worth a return or even a first visit.

The service was dreadful. Drink orders incorrect, apps and entrees at same time. Waiter in the weeds at lunch (four tables, whoohoo) and apologetically bringing a "drink on the house" that was on the bill. And the prix fixe dessert never showed.

My husband and I didn't want to wait for a table next door so tried this restaurant on a whim. Tacos were delicious! Churros were too! Portions a bit small but that may be only on fixed menu. We will be back!

Ordering take out in nyc is serious biz for new yorkers so taste and value are where its at. Not yr reg taco joint had the steak w/pom sauce and wasabi mashed potatos and it was delic...fried avocade was tasty eventhough portions were relatv small...def a place to try if yr a fan of dos camin or rosa mex. Ill be back...

so im sure your asking yourself were lolipop but they have a dj most of the nights and he plays great music...... the food is actually goood and the drinks are even better there margarita list is like more than 10 i was amazed and the staff is very mindful and warm
